I was looking at her.
Surreal is the word for her.

"Manik" She said and I was already looking at her.

I hmmed in response.

"I want to work now manik,
In our office." She said.

"Of course,what better than having a topper work with us" I said being more than ready and Happy.

And she laughed in response.

I knew she wanted to tell me something as she was fidgeting with her hands since we entered garden.

Just then I saw a kid buying balloons outside and her mother was telling her to buy only one while she wanted more.

"Ek second" I told Nandini and ran towards the kid.

It was sharmila aunty,
Our neighbour.

"Here" I said giving all the balloons to the kid after paying the seller.

"Manik Malhotra" She exclaimed.

I nodded and bent to her level smiling.

"Hii baby" I said cupping her cheeks.

How I love kids,
Uff.

"Thank you beta" Aunty said and I came towards our garden again after side hugging aunty.

I saw Nandini sitting on the grass watching sunset.
I went and sat behind her hugging her from back.

She smiled as she felt my presence.
And how nice does it feel to see someone being so happy just with you r presence around them.

"Garden ke dusre side chalo na" She told me and I was confused.

"Kyun" I asked as she already got up.

"Chalo you'll know yourself" She said and pulled me with her.

I gathered courage to finally tell him as I took him to the other side of the garden.

"Nandini" He said with shocked expressions and eyes wide.

You" He said not being able to speak properly.

I looked at him and nodded with tears in my eyes and smile on my lips.

I held his hand and he pulled me closer.

We joined our foreheads together.

"Yes Manik Malhotra,
We're pregnant" I said and he smiled from ear to ear.

He broke the hug and bent down to see the arrangement I had done.

I just couldn't stop smiling and crying at the same time.

I could see how happy he was.

"The butterflies you gave me,
Turned into tiny feets"  I whispered in his ear.

"I love you so much" He said

"Both of you actually" He said touching my belly.

I laughed.
And he hugged me again not finding words.
