"Are you ok?" He asks wide eyed.

"Yes, thank you." She gives his hand a squeeze and stand up, moving her attention to the third person in the room. There is a toothy grin shining on his face.

"I know you." He points a finger at her, her stomach churns at the sound of his low voice. "You're in my history class."

I know, Jake Kiszka, I've only been drooling over you for two months now, she thinks as her brain desperately tries to ease her heart race. She pretends to think for a bit before agreeing, not wanting them to know how well she knows he was on that class, that can ruin her chances of getting rid of crazy Alison and her sick boyfriend and she can't let that happen.

"Josh told me about your roommate and we ourselves are kind of desperate to fill that third room, too. So I guess we can help each other out." There is some magical, invisible force keeping their eyes glued together, Jake's lips are painted as a smirk. Josh clears his throat, making them look at him. Y/N sees his frown for the second time that morning, but this time it is directed to his brother.

"Let's show you the house, then." Although his words are meant for Y/N, Josh's eyes never leave Jake.

Y/N likes the bedroom, it is small, but big enough for her things and the bed is quite comfortable. She takes the naked walls, the wardrobe and the bed in and closes her eyes, visualizing it with her stuff. Her mouth curves into a smile and an anticipation relief takes over her body. She is about to close a deal, she is about to wake up from her nightmare. Goodbye, Alison.

The only problem with the apartment is that it only have one bathroom for three people, but they are going to make it work, that won't get in the way of things. She really likes the place as a whole and, in the end, it will be cheaper than the one she is currently living in.

"Well, I guess that's it then. We finally got a new roomie," Josh announces after a long talk about the place and getting to know each other a little.

When he is fully awake, Y/N notes, he becomes a new person. He is eloquent and can't keep his hands still, he won't stop talking and the girl really likes the sound of his voice and how the words fall from his lips. Jake is a flirt. Every single word that leave his mouth is followed by a smirk and he keeps leaning into her, making her pulse quicken and her cheeks blush.

"Is there any rules?" She asks when they're about to get up from the chairs.

"I can't think of any at the moment," Josh looks up at the ceiling, trying to think of something. When his face falls back down and his eyes meet Jake, something seems to click in his head. "Except we probably shouldn't get physically involved, y'know. I guess that's a concern I had about bringing a girl to live here, it can make things weird and uncomfortable." His eyes moves from his brother to the girl, then back to his brother. She raises an eyebrow.

"Don't worry, he's talking to me," Jake states. "He thinks I can't control myself when it comes to women."

"And can you?" She teases.

"Not very often." Two of them laugh, the other keeps a serious facade.

"I mean it, Jake."

"Alright, I'll keep my hands off of her, if she keeps hers off of me." He winks, electricity flows through her body. Some things are hard to promise.

"Do you mind if we watch something from my laptop tonight?" Josh asks, finishing the dinner dishes. Y/N has her head and arms resting on top of the counter in front of him.

"Is there something wrong with the TV?"

"No, I just don't feel like watching Jake kiss his way to his room tonight. I thought we could maybe stay in my room, if you don't mind." Relief seems to pour down Y/N's body at his words.
