Chapter 13- You and him. Again.

Start from the beginning

She narrowed her eyes at me,
“The more the delay—the more the details.”

“Pinky promise”
I replied cheekily and rushed inside the bathroom across the hallway.

Thank god we don’t get to share toilets… I hate sharing places where we rest our butts on.

Hygienic you see!

🔹'So then when I’m finished
I’m all ‘bout my business and ready to save the world
I’m taking my misery
Make it my bitch; can’t be everyone’s favorite girl'🔹

Nodding my head, imagining the beats of the song I was wiping my right leg balancing myself weirdly on my left.

The towel wrapped on my head threatening to fall every now and then.

I jumped a couple of times to balance myself on my left leg, when I was in the middle of wiping my toes—failing eventually, to gain support I held on the shining dark grey tilled walls of the bathroom.

Once done I wore my knickers and then my bra.

No, they do not match, apart from the colour.

🔹'So take aim and fire away
I’ve never been so wide awake
No, nobody but me can keep me safe
And I’m on my way'🔹

I was pretty occupied with singing and twisting my body along the imaginary beats that I totally curtained the voices coming from outside

🔹'I’m on my way'🔹

I was drying my hair when the knob of my bathroom door jiggled.

Shocked I turned, with wide eyes I was staring at it—all the scenes of horror movies came flashing my mind.

What if it’s ghost!

What if it’s a criminal!

Even worse, what it’s the killer from movie scream!

“Holy fuck!”

I clutched the towel to my heart and promised myself to keep shut.
Don’t even breathe baby!

The knob jiggled again,
“Open up Veer, or else Ruhani’s going to kill me.”

“Veer I know you are in there and you just started, open up. I can hear her footsteps.”

I inhaled.
It’s not Veer Bhai you duffos!

“Dude!”

I don’t know what I did but the only voice I heard before the click opening of door was Ruhani’s yell from a distance.

“Thanks”
Rudra said huffing

I shut the door behind him, his back facing me he bend down to catch his breath, his hips almost touching my legs—of course I slide aside.

He stood straight and I stood frozen, contemplating my next move.

The towel was still clutched to my chest but the legs were bare and I don’t think any situation would be this vulnerable.

“I never knew you use floral shampoo” Rudra said laughing eyeing my bathing kit kept wide open on the shelf.

I gulped.

“Hey! Isn’t this Manzar’s towel and clothes?”
he asked before he turned around and met my eye

His eyes grew wide before he chocked.
