Irene picked up Jennie at around 9pm since the younger girl can't even drive on her own as she feels so numb about the information that she heard earlier. Irene immediately drive both of them back to Jennie's apartment. She let Jennie inside her room while she help to get Ella to bed and answering the little girl while her Eomma didn't went out to greet her but she's just too worried that the little girl will saw Jennie crying so she just told her Jennie's very tired as she put her to bed.
Once she's done with Ella she grab some food and water from their apartment and she went straight to Jennie's room while the younger girl's still sitting on her bed while staring into the distance and she stopped crying already but she's still worried for her.
"Jennie.. Have something to eat" her older says but she just shake her head
"What happened? " she asked
"Lisa fainted earlier... And I come to find out that she fainted because of how much her head ached earlier because of her amnesia" she said choking up at the information and her tears started streaming down her face. Irene is also shocked about the information but she's also shocked at how Jennie's taking it all in.. And why was she so affected by it
"You haven't cried since then.. You just cry because of your sister's death anniversary, when you see how much Ella miss her and when your parents disregard you. But I haven't seen you crying for some other people and to add up that you don't even like Lisa that much to cry over her" Irene said calmly while looking at Jennie
"I have to tell you something Irene" Jennie said making the older girl nod "I've known Lisa before"
"Really? Are you guys friends? Is that why you hate her so much cause you thought that she's ignoring the fact that you know each other when in fact she's going through amnesia? " she said making the younger girl sigh
"Lisa.. She's my girlfriend. My ex girlfriend" Jennie confessed making Irene nod understandingly even though she's really shocked about the information since she haven't seen Jennie hanging out with girls... But she barely even go out with guys neither
"We've known each other through social media. We just started talking to each other cause she just randomly started flirting with me back then " she let out a chuckle at the memory "I thought she's just that random girl who just flirt with a lot of people but she's not. We kept talking and became friends at first since I dont want to enter a relationship since I'm already not being appreciated by my parents and what more if they'll find out that I'm dating a girl. But Lisa... She was different, she made me feel like I'm appreciated everyday. She fill in the emptiness that I'm craving from my parents. I thought she'll make me hate my parents more than I already do but like I said. She's different, she made me feel loved and appreciated without making me go against those who don't do those things to me. We were just social media buddies cause she's from Thailand and I was at New Zealand that time. " she paused a bit and drink some water and smiled a bit
"She kept in contact as much as she can for a year. We weren't together but I can see how much she's serious when it comes to me and she never get tired of waiting. One day she went to New Zealand.. We meet each other and she told me she got a job there. I was happy... Very happy. I let her stay on my apartment and when she started working we both paid our rent and everything. I was working as a doctor there while she works as a photographer, one day I lose one of my patient and saw how much her partner suffers so the next day I immediately told Lisa that I want us to be together and she was worried about my parents... I was too. She told me I don't need to introduce her or anything and she's fine with that. She's my little secret towards my family, my friends and everyone around me cause I'm not out there. She was fine with that. She introduced me to her mom, her friends and even relatives but she assured me that they'll keep quiet about our relationship so I don't have to worry. She's the greatest girlfriend I had. " Irene saw how slowly her smile fades out of her face
"We were together for 4 years that time and it was my birthday. She came from work and told me she'll go see me on this fancy restaurant. I was there all dressed up. I was there at 10 and kept calling her but she's not answering till I get up and go at 3am. I was fucking hurt that time and also very immature to just shut her off. The next day I received a call from her but I chose not to answer. My mom called me that day to take the first flight to Korea because my sister was pregnant with Ella. I chose to shut off Lisa then her mom started calling but I chose to ignore. A lot of people from her side called me but I stopped. When I arrived in Korea my mom was really furious that my sister was pregnant that she even punished me and told me that if she found out that I have a boyfriend then she'll forget about me. I was so immature to still choose to impress those people who didn't even give a single shit about me and forget about the person who just committed a single mistake by not showing up on my birthday. I didn't know if that was the time she got into the accident that caused her amnesia but it's still so immature of me to shut her out of my life just because of that. "
