Third person's POV
Lisa just finished half of her day so she decided to meet up with her friends on a restaurant on the ground floor. She's currently waiting for the elevator.. once it opens a couple of people are there including Jennie who's already contemplating if she should go out of the elevator since Lisa will go in and also the amount of nurses who's starting to greet Lisa when they saw them. But then Jennie just avoid Lisa's gaze when the taller girl went in. 3 people went out of the elevator leaving 2 nurses and the both of them inside.
"Good afternoon Dr. Manoban" one of the nurse said so Lisa just smile at them so she wouldnt come off rude while Jennie just kept her gaze on the buttons of the elevator keeping her focus on what floor they are already.

4, then the door opened and the two nurses bid their goodbyes to Lisa not even acknowledging Jennie. The door then closed again and Lisa look towards the buttons and it has 2nd floor and ground floor meaning Jennie will get off at the 2nd floor of the hospital. Lisa then look towards Jennie who has her pissed off face but then she's actually nervous on the inside.
3rd floor comes and a huge thud came on the elevator making Jennie flinch in surprise. The light shuts down then it came back.
"The fuck" Jennie cursed under her breath and she looked up at the number of which floor they're in but it isn't changing so she immediately pushed the emergency button while Lisa stood there seeing how Jennie's too nervous about the possibility of getting stuck inside the elevator so she grab her phone from her pocket and it only have a couple of battery on but enough for 30 min. She immediately called Jackson and gladly he answered
"Jackson i think the elevator's not working and I'm stuck here inside can you ask someone to look" she said in a calm tone while Jennie look towards Lisa and she started looking for her own phone but she remembered that she left it on her office to charge.
"Alright.. I'll go get someone" he said before ending the call then she handed the phone towards Jennie
"You might want to call someone.. use my phone. I have Irene's number if you dont know it" Lisa said and Jennie immediately grab the phone and started talking to Irene about being stuck on the elevator and freaking out that she needs to get out of the elevator immediately. Lisa on the other side sit down on the elevator while looking at Jennie who's not calm at all.
Once she's done talking to Irene she ended the call and gave it back to Lisa. She stayed standing for a couple of minutes until she gives up and sit on the opposite side of Lisa which Lisa clearly understand.
A couple of minutes more Lisa's phone rings making Jennie look up as well expectantly. Lisa then put it on speaker so Jennie can hear it as well.
"Lisa the technicians will shut the power off to fix some problems so the lights will go off but you'll be out in about 30 minutes. That's the fastest time that they can fix it" Jackson says making Jennie groan
"Won't it fall down if they'll shut it off for fuck's sake i dont want to die this early!! " Jennie yelled out with a frown as Lisa try to hide her smile on the other girl's annoyed face
"No it won't the elevator will stay on that spot until they turn it back on" Jackson said "also Lisa.. Irene told me that you should calm Jennie down" Jackson said
"I'm calm I don't need anything! " Jennie yelled out again before Jackson end the call. After some seconds the lights went off leaving us in pure darkness. I turn my phone's flashlight on as i put it on our middle. "I'll fucking go to another hospital after this" Jennie said under her breath and she probably thought that the thai girl didnt heard it but it's too quiet here it's impossible to not hear her when her breathing can be heard.
"Ella's a really pretty girl huh?" Lisa said making Jennie feel calmer. She didnt even said anything back at Lisa and stayed silent "you know what.. she told me that she trust doctors cause her eomma's a doctor as well" I said and a smile starts creeping on her face as Lisa said it.. she really have a soft spot on Ella "i can see that you raised her.. i was telling her that she needs to trust me even though im just a stranger cause ill treat her wound and i kept asking if she's fine with it. She told me if I'll even treat her cause I'm talking way too much" Lisa said and there she heard Jennie's giggle when she tells the story about Ella
"She's a smart girl" Jennie said making Lisa smile as she heard the smaller girl's voice "she's also brave" she said and her face falls "her mom died when she was 5 years old.. my older sister is a very kind woman, she's just perfect that my parents admires her so much. Ella's dad left them when he found out that my sister's pregnant. He doesnt want to take responsibilities " Jennie says while looking at the floor. Lisa felt bad when she heard the story but she likes that Jennie opens up to her in some ways.
"You know what... I'm an only child. My dad also left us when i was 13." Lisa said but the smaller girl just keep her gaze on the floor while listening to lisa "my mom.. she's in jail right now because of the multiple debts that she can't pay " that's when Jennie looks up meeting Lisa's gaze
"Your mom?" Jennie asked with a pure shock on her face
"Yeah do you know my mom?" She asked but the brunnete shakes her head
"Why aren't you bailing her out when you're a fucking doctor? You can pay so much for your mom but here you are not doing a single thing" Jennie yelled out while Lisa just shows a tight lipped smile as the lights went on and she stood up not answering Jennie.
The elevator door opens afterwards and Lisa immediately went out while Jennie doesnt have a single idea on why Lisa didnt answer her back
