Wanting Her

Chapter Two: It's rude to stare.

With Samuel luck he knew exactly where they would sit: the table only a few feet away his. He was staring but not in a attractive way it was more of gawking as she ordered the the vampire younglings food like he could not speak for himself.

"A steak meal and make it a bit undercook"She said softly her voice coming out like a angels would as she passed the waitress the menu not getting herself something to eat.

"Starving for that little monster"He said loudly with a sound of disgust left his beta's lips. One that made the vampire youngling look down at his lap and grow still but Samuel's mate clearly wasn't having it. She was glaring at not just his beta but also him as if saying control the bastard or I will.

"It's rude to stare you Fleabags"She snapped at them as her eyes darkened with anger as she jerked her head away from them and went to comfort the vampire youngling and then she glanced at them."His name is William"this time her words came out soft and caring when she said his name and it made Samuel jealous. Jealous she wasn't looking at him with those caring beautiful eyes or saying his name with so much love like she did the youngling.

"We didn't ask for it's name"Nykia all but snarled at Samuel's mate but she was a brave soul and wasn't backing down from the challenge presented. She was determined to keep the youngling safe and it was slowly making Samuels chest ache with unwanted pain.

"The sign outside clearly states that no animals are aloud inside, you should really put a muzzle and leash on him"she snapped harshly at Nykia who's eyes all but widened in anger and a bit of shock but it didn't stop the low growl that left his beta lips. Samuel wanted to kick him and tell him not to disrespect his Luna but didn't. He believed that it was best for his pack to deal with the shit they start tho his wolf was more than pissed with him and his beta attitudes.

Caretakers are usually calm and peaceful, it was excepted of them not to pick a fight with any form of threat but here she was spitting fire at his beta and keeping the youngling tucked behind her. She held her head high and her chin was set stubbornly as she eyed Nykia. She opened he mouth to make another snide remark but a small and frail voice came out; it belonged to the youngling who placed his hand softly on her arms with pleading eyes.

"Lucinda it's okay" was all he said and instantly her face softened and she had her back turned to us. Nykia being Nykia scoffed and made a disgusted sound before chowing back down on his food. The unwanted pain shot through his chest once again but stronger. He was jealous over a youngling.

'How pathetic' he thought to himself as he swallowed quietly not enjoying the emotions that washed over him.

He watched them from the corner of his eyes and gave a small smile when the lady had brought his mate something to eat as well and even more happy when she took it. At first she waited till the youngling started eat before she dug into her burger.

"Yea lard ass like you need the burger"Nykia snickered as his lips twitched into a hateful smirk and his eyes shined with pride like he had just won a battle. Samuel stood up and couldn't keep the growling to himself as he and his wolf was enraged with his comment. To him she was breath taking and loved the way she wasn't thin: he loved that she was curvous woman and clearly she did too because she threw her head back and laughed.

Not a laugh it off type laugh but a genuine you made a funny laugh that Samuel stop his growling and Nykia gawking at her in surprise.

"Your only slim and fit because of your wolf, mutt. If you didn't have it to shift and run around you'd be overweight and not pleasantly plump like myself. Sorry heel boy and wipe the sauce off your lips you look like a pig"She said with a soft giggle as she picked her burger up looking his beta in the eyes and taking a large bite right out of it.

Samuel slowly took his seat as he smirked. His mate was a proud woman and would make a proud Luna.

His wolf hummed with excited and overwhelming happiness as he too was proud of his mate and couldn't wait to see Nykia's face twist up in shock and horror when he announces he had finally found his mate.

But his thoughts soon took another turn because he smelled it before he saw it. It reeked of death and misery as the older vampire strode in with a umbrella similar to the one his Lucinda had been clutching onto earlier and the crest was on his leather jacket. His hair was a light natural silver color and a mess on top of his head and his eyes were a cold lifeless soul stealing silver; gaze that seem to effect everyone in the room except him, his beta, the youngling and certainly not his mate who was glaring at him; If looks could kill the stranger would be more than dead from Lucinda glare. He looked like a Hollister model and was built like a man who wanted to slim and fit but not muscular. He was tall that was a given but not as tall as Samuel. He watched as he eyed first Samuel and his beta before turning his emotionless silver gaze to his mate and the youngling.

His mates glare did not falter to his as he got closer before taking a seat at the table and the spot beside her. He look around his mates age and even though he did not know who he was it was easy to tell he was related to the youngling. Tho they completely different there noses were still shaped in the same pointy manner as well the way there chin was set. They both shared high cheek bones for boys and the way the sat was similar; They sat as if they were excepting a fight to break out or for someone to attack them directly.

Jealousy and the need to protect her washed over Samuel but he fought against trying to cage the beast the prowled inside of him growling and snarling a deranged animal who had some type of maddening disease.

||||Hi! Second chapter to 'Wanting Her'. I'd like to get some feedback but also a few opinions! I want to start another book based off Nykia and him finding his very own mate! I have bit of a story line already but don't want to make it official till I know if anyone would be interested in it.
