Sleeping with the Enemy

Introduction

I liked walking alone at night, it was peaceful. Gave me time to clear my head. Standing in the middle of the road, I looked up, staring at the night sky - the stars were beautiful. But, my peaceful moment was soon interrupted by a bloodcurdling scream. I grabbed my gun from my holster, running full speed towards the sound. Tonight was the night I would prove myself.

I guess I should introduce myself...My name is Sun Y/N, and I'm a vampire hunter. As you can guess, I'm running towards a hunt, and I'm finally going to kill the target I've been after for years...

The screams are getting louder, I know I'm headed the right way. I quickly turn the corner and see the all too familiar sight - a girl, cowering and crying against a wall. A pair of red glowing eyes. Fangs bared, ready to strike.

"Hey you! Get your filthy hands off of her!"

He turns towards me, smirking as he throws the girl against the wall, knocking her unconscious. He looks me up and down, then laughs, throwing his head back.

"Well, well. If it isn't the famous Sun Y/N, here to kill me... I'm SO SCARED."

He pretended to cower in fear, putting his hands in the air to feign innocence. I wasn't taking the bait. I pointed my gun at him, hands sweating. What the hell is wrong with me?

"I. SAID. GET. AWAY."

My gun only has three bullets, but I only need one clean shot. This gun has been passed down through the generations, and now resides in my hands. In the barrel are three silver-coated bullets, lethal enough to take down the most powerful of vampires. And that was exactly what I was going to do...
