Chapter 48 (Almost the end)

Bumalik ako sa mansion nya. Only to find out na hindi pa sya nauwi. Nagpasya akong magstay nalang sa bahay nya at hintayin sya hanggang sa makauwi sya.

Ang sabi ng mga maid na nakita ko baka daw nag gagala ang amo nila somewhere out there.

Naweirduhan naman ako sa ibang katulong dahil kung makatingin sakin ay parang may alam sila kung bakit ko hinahanap ang boss nila.

Or maybe they really know. Knowing Carvajal's kapag may sinabi silang seryoso kakalat at kakalat yun.

Pumanhik ako sa itaas. Gusto kong pumasok dun sa kwarto na tinulugan ko kagabi pero nagpasya ako na maupo nalang sa labas ng pinto.

I don't want to enter there without a permission to the owner. I know it's her room. Sa amoy palang ng Kama alam kong sya ang nagamit. Ang bango kasi.

Sa sarap ng pag upo at sandal ko nakaidlip na pala ako.

Nagising lang ako ng makarinig ako ng tunog ng takong sa sahig papalapit sakin.

"Annie? Why are you sitting there? "- she asked using her soft and yet calm voice.

Tumingin ako sa kanya. Nakatayo sya just a few meters away from me. She's looking at me as if I'm a puzzle that cannot be arrange.

Inayos ko ang buhok at mukha ko bago tumayo.

"What are you doing in here? "- she asked.

I cleared my throat.

"I.. I'm waiting for you"- sabi ko.

She chuckled a little while covering her mouth using her hand.

"You should just enter there. Wala naman kaso sakin kung papasok ka sa kwarto ko and besides dyan kadin naman natulog kagabi"-she said.

"But it's rude to just enter there without your permission"- I fired back.

Binaba nya ang kamay nya at tumayo ng tuwid.

"Speaking of rudeness.. Anong nakain mo at ang kalma mo sakin ngayon?"- she asked.

Napayuko ako at huminga ng malalim bago tumingin ulit sa kanya.

Unti unti akong humakbang palapit sa kanya. Hindi ko din inalis ang tingin ko sa kanya kahit pa nakikita kona naguguluhan sya.

Just when I am just an inch away from her I wrap my arms on her waist and I pull her closer to me for a warm embrace.

I put my chin on her left shoulder and I close my eyes to savour this romantic moment.

"Annie... "-

"Sssh..just let me please. Sorry kung ngayon lang. I know you needed this kind of hug before pero hindi ko naibigay. Kaya please Mel.. Don't push me because I won't let go"- I said as my tears stream down on my face.

I felt her stiffened when she heard my little sobs.

"I'm sorry for not listening to you when you're explaining everything. I'm sorry for not being there with you when you lost everything. I'm sorry for being rude to you, I'm sorry for leaving you and claiming that I don't love you anymore.. I'm sorry for lying for saying that I'm fine and better without you."- I said between my sobs.

I felt her hands caressing my back.

"Calm down. Don't cry Annie"- I heard her said.

Umiling ako at niyakap pa sya lalo.

"Annie---"

I cut her off by releasing her and claiming her parted lips.

Shock was evident in her eyes but still I close my eyes to savour the moment. To savour how her lips taste and how soft it is.

I miss this girl so much.

Natigil lang ako sa ginagawa ng makarinig kami ng nabasag na baso.

I open my eyes at medyo lumayo kay Mel para tignan kung ano yun pero hindi ko sya binitawan.
"I.. I'm sorry Ma'am! I didn't mean to--- I'm going now! "- tarantang sabi ng katulong at pinulot ang ilang piraso ng bubog at nilagay sa tray bago nagmadali na makaalis.

Kinurot naman ako ni Mel habang nag pupunas ako ng luha.

"Why did you do that?  Alam mona man na hindi ako mag isa dito---"- I cut her off again by placing my finger on her lips.

"I don't mind. "- I said before grabbing her wrist at hinatak sya papuntang kwarto nya.

"What do you mean you don't mind? "- she asked as she put down her bag on the chair just near her.

"Nasabi kona ba sayo na mahal kita?"- I asked causing her to be caught off guard.

She tried to open her lips to mutter a word pero wala syang nasabi.

I smile while pressing the lock button of her door.

Hinubad ko ang jacket ko dahilan para tumaas ang kilay nya. I just give her a smile.

"What are you doing? "- she asked.

"Mainit hindi moba ramdam?"- I said at humakbang palapit sa kaniya.

"Buhay ang aircon"- she said at umiwas sakin.

Napangiti naman ako lalo.

"I know. "- sabi ko

"Then step back,  you're invading my personal space"-she said at balak pa na umalis sa harap ko pero nahawakan ko kaagad sya sa braso.

"This is invading your personal space. "- I whispered as grab her waist and pull her closer to me.

I smell her hair and put a little kisses on the side of her head down to her ear.

"I miss you so much. "- I said as I give her a long kiss on her cheek.

"I think----"

"I love you."- I whispered as I trace little kisses on her jaw.

"Don't you ever try to tell me to stay away from you.. I will claim you back Mel. Now that I know that you're single don't expect me to let you go again. "- I said seriously as I claim her lips.

She push me away.

"How can I believe in you knowing that you've got a lot a flings out there? "- she asked.

"I will ignore them for you. "- I said and was about to kiss her again when she put her hand on my mouth.

"I'm not done talking"- she said.

"You didn't sleep with them right? "- she asked but I didn't respond.

Kumunot ang kilay nya at tinanggal ang kamay sa bibig ko.

"You did? "- she asked.

"Of course not. I belong to you so I'm all yours"- I said.

Naningkit naman ang mga mata nya pero hinalikan ko lang sya sa nuo.

"Maybe I have many flings out there but when I say I love you, I mean it Mel. "- I said seriously while caressing her face.

Feeling ko nabunutan nako ng tinik. Now that I confessed again infront of her hindi ko maipaliwanag kung anong nararamdaman ko. Basta isa lang ang gusto kong mangyari ang makasama sya at makita ng lahat na we really deserve each other.
