It was 10:30am already,
Nandini is still not here.
All of us sat on the table to have breakfast.
Mom,dad and me.
"Nandini abhi tak nahi aayi" I said.
"Woh Nilay ke saath gyi hai na beta,
Kal sujata bol rahi thi ki bachpan ke dost hai par mile nai bohot saalo se isliye shayad late ho gaya" Mom said.
"7 baje se gayi hai mom,
It's almost 11 na koi phone na koi message" I said.
"Itna hyper mat ho,bachi thodi hai woh
Aa jayegi" Dad said.
The three of us had breakfast.
Dad and I were going to leave together for office.
I sat on the sofa waiting for him as he went to his room for something.
I was checking my emails in the phone when I felt two hands around my neck and a kiss on my cheek.
"Good morning hubby" She said.
Nandini she was of course.
"It's almost Good afternoon Nandini,
Morning was what you spent with your friend" I said being clearly pissed.
"Manik,
Again?!" She said.
"Nandini subah 7 baje se gayi ho tum,
11 baje hai,
Ek call kar deti message kar deti" I said.
"Aap bhi kar sakte the" She said coming and sitting on the sofa beside me.
"Of course,
Meri hi galti hai" I said and got up only to take her phone out from her purse.
I opened the phone and showed her the display screen.
"Call bhi kiye aur message bhi kiye the Nandini,
Jawaab nahi aaye" I said.
"Shit shit shit,
Sorry Manik seriously,
Woh silent peh tha phone toh mujhe laga aap so hi rahe ho" She said getting up.
"Breakfast kiya aapne?!" She asked.
I saw dad coming down and went towards my car without answering her.

"Aree beta,aa gayi tum" Dad came towards me and side hugged me.
"Taapmaan kafi hi garam lag raha hai" he said pointing towards Manik and I couldn't help but smile.
"Don't worry" He said kissing the side of my head and went away.
Uff yaar Nandini,
Kitni stupid hai tu.
Abb kya karu.
Dammit.
Par unhe bhi itna gussa nahi hona chaiye,
Apne bachpan ke dost ke saath hi toh gayi thi yaar.
Nahi uthaya phone nahi dekhe messages toh kya ho gaya.
Itna kya jealous hona har baat pe.
Mein bhi iss baar nahi manane wali,
Huh! Jao.

It was 8:30 pm.
Time for Manik to come back from office.
Nandini and Nyonica were waiting for their husbands sitting in living room chatting.
They both came.
"Lo aa gaye yeh log bhi,
Tumlog fresh ho jao tab tak mein khana lagati huh,
Jaa beta Nandini Manik ke saath" Nyonica said.
