3rd person pov:

The search for stiles had stopped two years ago as he had been missing for two years then. The police department reluctantly presuming the sheriffs son dead. It took stiles's group of supernatural friends an extra year to just give up for they to had lost hope on ever finding stiles. It hurts, yes, but it was better than the pitiful looks that were cast the group's way.

There was no way stiles was dead, and they wanted to believe Lydia's powers hadn't failed them again when there wasn't a scream that was left without a body to pair up with.

So, eventually, they gave in to the overwhelming shadow that crept behind the packs backs, constantly trying to convince themselves that there friend was truly gone. The group that consisted of Scott,Lydia, Malia and Derek took it the hardest, for they actually knew stiles. And in Derek's case, he pretended to hate the kid, but he actually liked how stiles talked to him as if he wasn't scared of him; he was one of the only people that did that.

But eventually, things happened, and it was a little easier to move on from the catastrophic event of their best friend. After voids stiles's destruction on Beacon Hills and killing off Aiden and Allison they started to realise that he's in a happier place now with his mother and friend's. Even in the short time Malia and stiles were together she had started to gain feeling for the sarcastic spazz but never really got to tell him that was the one thing she regretted the most.

School's starts again, and the soon-to-be seniors are gathered around the bookshelves, patiently waiting their turn to continue the tradition to sign them. It came to Scott's turn, and he messily scrawled and S.M before stopping for a brief moment, as if in thought. Then, he wrote S.S as well as A.A underneath his initials before stepping away.

"They would of been with us," Lydia comforted, placing a consulting hand on his shoulder as the group stared looming letters. Kira slowly walked away, respectfully leaving the three to mourn for their friend.

Malia gave the two a light smile, ridding her brows of the sight crease that was beginning to form between them. "They still are" she uncontrollably looked up at the ceiling, and Lydia and Scott smiled up to, as if Stiles and Allison could see them. But at that moment the very ALIVE Stiles had other problems at his hands.
