(Chantelle's POV)

I knocked on the door of Rays house and Mrs. Smith answered, welcoming me in.

"Chantelle! What are you doing here so early?" She asked me.

"I'm here to talk to you," I said as i took a seat. "And Ray."

"About what?"

"Yesterday night, the fact that Ray didn't remember me crowded my mind...I discovered a way to gain back his memory, if certain thing." I said.

"And that is by...?"

"Talking it through! I can tell him about thing that happened, before the day be got shot, and probably he will remember." I said.

Mrs. Smith gave me a weird face. "What if he doesn't remember anything?"

"Then I guess it will stay like that forever," I said, as I looked down at the ground. I couldn't let our relationship go down the drain like that! And there are some things that needed to be uncovered.

"Let's think about the bright side. There is a fifty percent chance that everything will come back to him. All I need is your permission. are you up for it?" I asked, waiting for an answer.

It took about a minute to get a reply from Mrs. Smith.

"Uh. Okay. Do you want to start the plan today?" She asked me.

Halleujah! "Yes! And yeah! I actually wanted to take Ray out to the park." I said.

"Sure. He should be awake by now. Wait here, I'm going to get him from upstair."

She got up and walked up the stairs to Ray's room. I heard ray groan.

"Do I have to?" He said.

"Yes, you have to. Its not optional." She said.

"Okay! I need to get dressed." He said.

A few seconds later, Mrs. Smith was back downstairs. "He is getting dressed up."

I waited for a few minutes until Ray came downstairs. "Mrs. Smith?" I said.

"Yes hun?"

"I'll do whatever it takes to get your sons memory back." I said, giving her a reassuring look. "I'm counting on you, only because I loved the relationship you and Ray had." She replied.

Ray came down the stairs. He looked at me, then he rolled his eyes.

"What did you want to do?" He asked me.

"Take you out!" I told him.

"On a date? I barely even know you!" He exclaimed.

"Oh, but you will." I mumbled.

"What was that?"

"Nothing," I quickly said. "Anyways, lets get going before the day ends. Bye Mrs. Smith!" I said.

"Bye mom!" Ray said.

We both walked out the house and to the park in silence.

"So, what exactly are we doing here, at the park?" He asked me.

"Talking about memories. I want to see if I can help you remember somethings. This is where we would always go to talk things out. I remember you and the boys had a dance performance over here a few months ago..." I said as I pointed to the little stage/platform that was in the park for performances.
