"Okay, Renjun. We're so, so proud of you, and I'm sure your parents will be too. You're the best son that anyone could possibly have, my dearest," Auntie replies, smiling at me with pride, her eyes glazed over in reflectiveness. After all, she's raised me along with Uncle for my whole life, and nobody could ever replace the love they've given me or change the way they've raised me from a dependent, shy baby, to a free, wild-thinking, confident man.
"I love you so much, Auntie," I tell her, pressing an affectionate kiss to her cheek, heading over to Uncle, "I love you too, Uncle," I tell him, embracing him tightly.
Pulling away, I smile sincerely, before racing up to my room to inform the boys of this news. Picking up my mobile phone, I quickly sign in, opening up my message app to our shared group chat.
