{Chapter 16} Class Fight

"You're dumb, Y/n!" Ryu laughs and lightly pushes my shoulder. We both got out of class early so we chilled in the hall until our next period.

"Not as dumb as you." I reply with a chuckle.

Students were hurdling together. They seemed to be freaking out about something on the wall.

Ryu and I glance at each other asking 'What's going on?'

As we get closer we can see that there was an article.

"Seraphina was ones considered...." Ryu read it. Her eyes widening as she took more information. Since I already knew she was a cripple I was not surprised. But I wonder why Arlo let someone put this up. "Seraphina is a cripple now?"

"Seems like it." I answer glaring at the paper. Arlo definitely wouldn't allow this. Someone had to put this up.

"How are you so relaxed? It gives me chills thinking about it." Ryu didn't say that out of fright. She smiled?

I grab Ryu's hand. "It's not of our concern." I pull her hand towards me as I start walking. 
"Wait—" Ryu yanks her hand away. "Look." Ryu bops her head towards John and Seraphina.

The two of them walk by without a problem. Until John glances over at me.

"Look." I signal my head towards the crowd.

John hesitates but takes a look towards the crowd.

John makes his way to the paper and rips it. John grips onto Sera's arm and pulls her away from the crowd. Both of them hurriedly distancing themselves from these students.

"The cripples are running...How amusing." Ryu snickers.

'...Entitlement.' I glance over at grinning Ryu. 'She's acting weird.'

FWOOSH!!

I switch my vision towards John and Sera. Two guys launch themselves at John. A lime haired guy goes in for a punch, John dodges and gets ahold of his arm then kicks him in the gut. The other guy tries kicking John in the head but surprise! Surprise! John dodges and punches him in the face.

I couldn't hear them and to be honest I couldn't care less. I am not getting in between John's messes anymore. It's his own fault he is a lying bastard, it is his fault he is being targeted. He knows how this system works yet he still chooses to be the victim. So goddamn stupid.

"Let's go see!" Ryu rushes over to see the fight. Leaving me behind.

Ryu is definitely acting weird. She is being much like  everyone here. She is usually scared and nice. I wonder what's up with her.

Instead of watching the fight I decide to lean against the wall. My body slowly drags itself to the floor. Eventually, I sit on the ground with my legs stretched out. 'I'll just be here in case Ryu decides to come back to me or something remotely interesting happens.' Just as I was getting comfortable, Blyke makes his way towards the commotion. He awkwardly looks at me trying not to let his feelings show through his expression. Yeah, he failed. Blyke keeps walking until he halts in the middle of the hall.

"HEY YOU TWO! CUT IT OUT!" He yells at the two bullies harassing John and Sera. Ryu slowly back away from the crowd over to me. "That's enough fighting! Everyone go to class!"

"Hey Y/n? So did you settle things with Blyke or no?" She whispers.

I stood up and straightened my uniform. "Yeah, I rejected him." I answer.
Ryu's face went from normal, to annoyed, and back to normal in a matter of seconds. "Oh. Haha. Okay."

I squint my eyes giving her a suspicious look. "Oookaay."

Everyone started heading to their next class so we did too.
