                                  Luke.

"She's sixteen and recently adopted by two married men. They both say they've had her for over three months and she's yet to open up to them, she rarely talks, she always acts nervous, they think she needs to talk to someone" my nurse told me slowly, handing me the manila folder, a name printed across the top of it.

Mila Gomez

"Send the guardians first, I would like to know a little more before I start with her please" I spoke, seeing her immediately nod, leaving.

Soon, two men walked in holding hands

One was buff, holding a straight expression, the other smaller- holding the smallest smile.

"Doctor Hemmings" I spoke, extending my hand to the two of them, earning handshakes.

"So she's just shy?" I questioned as we all sat, looking to each other.

"It's not just a normal shyness" the smaller one spoke quietly.

"Like- we'll beg her to just talk to us about her schooling or her friends and she blushes, when she does speak she's stuttering, it's frustrating for us- we adopted a daughter to have a daughter, we could've just got a damn dog-" "we've been working with her, nothing seems to work." The smaller one cut the others rant off, making me slowly nod.

"So what's the reasoning as to why she was placed into foster care?" I asked.

"No one knows, she won't talk to anyone about it" The buff one huffed out, making me nod.

"Well- depending on the circumstances, you both might have to give me a few weeks, because I need to establish a level of trust; but I think I can get to the bottom of this" I spoke slowly.

"I give you permission to do whatever means you feel necessary" the buff one spoke out.

"Unless she refuses" the small one mumbled, elbowing the other secretly.

"She won't refuse- she doesn't fucking talk"

"I'll hold my session with her, then I'll bring you guys in to talk with her, depending on how that goes I may ask her to leave so I can speak to you guys privately, we'll have to take it step by step"

"That sounds great, thank you so much"
