"I don't get it." Scott says for a thousandth time.
"These betas all wants to be an alpha. They are hungry for power. And I was like them. I wanted to feel powerful without having a lot of betas running after me."
Scott looks angry.
"why am I involved? Why do they wanna kill me?"
"Well... You are a really strong beta, Scott."
I can't believe we are using words like beta or alpha.
We are in Derek's apartment and still discussing about our plan. Even though we don't have one yet.
"I can't hide. How many betas are there? Maybe we can kill them."
"There are about 14 betas. And its a lot for an alpha and a new beta."
"And a human. I am going to help you, Scott." I have ignored Derek the last couple of days. I don't look at him or talk to him. Or mention him.
"You would die faster than anyone. You are a human." Derek says
"Like you care if I died." For a moment I forget to ignore him.
Derek then takes my hand and drag me out of his apartment.
"Stop Stiles. I do care. I do." Derek looks concerned and I smile. My evil smile is genius according to myself.
"Derek, stop lying to youself."
I feel the tears but instead I go in.
Derek stops me and then it happens.
His face gets closer to mine.
His lips touches mine.
His lips are soft and I feel like I am in heaven.
