"Kim," I whispered.

She smelled the zombie too.

It was an awful stench.

"Yeah," she whispered back.

"On the count of three, run, go up to the attic. Okay?" I felt her nod.

I could feel the zombies dead breath on the back of my neck.

"One," she said

"Two,"

"Three."

With that Kim practically flew to the latter.

I on the other hand turned around and brought my gun level with the beasts face.

"You messed with the wrong girl!"

Then I pulled the trigger.
Mush.
That's all that a zombie brain is.
When it explodes it's like a green rotten egg.
Going everywhere.
Smelling everywhere.
Acid everywhere.

This is my favorite part.

You duck and try to avoid being melted by the horrific brains!

Anyway, after the beast is dead I rush up to where Kim lays crying in her sleeping bag.

"Kim. No no no no! Do not cry my dear sister!" I say as I land in a heap next to her.

"I'm so" snifle "sorry that" tears " that happened!" And she erupts in a mass of tears that would make the mississippi jelouse.

"It's not your fault," I whisper.

It's not her fault at all.

Who am I kidding. She was the one who had to go outside, she was the one who just had to play in the snow and break rules.

But since I'm the older sister I say, "It's not your fault, comon, lets get to bed."

She nods and I turn off our little flashlight that we use for light.

------------------

I'm running through an open feild. The grass licks my feet as they dig into the fresh soil.

"Kim!" I yell with laughter, she laughs too. Catching up with me she says,

"I'm hungry."

I nod as we make our way up to the house.

Going into thr cubbords I grab some cheetos and throw the bag at her.

"Tanka!" she yells my way.

I laugh and smile.

She goes into our shared room and I skip my way there.

Kim lies on our bed looking at the ceiling.

"Kim?" I ask in wonderment.

"What if mom and dad were to die?" she whispered.

"Kim! They would never!" I yell in horrir.

Sitting down next to her I take her hand.

She rips my hand away as if I had burned her.

"No," she began "They will. What if they did. I mean look at the facts. People die every day,"

"Kim stop!"

"No. People die every day. Friends. Family. People who we don't even know. From sicknesses, from war, old age. Yes people die. I'm going to die,"

"Kim!"

"What! It's true. Your going to die. And we're all going to corrupt into oblivion. Death is the only option after life." She finishes sadly.
