"Would you slap your brother for 5 million dollars?"
"I would spinning heel kick him in the face for free."
Uchiha Sasuke messed up, and he wasn't proud of it. Kaguya had won and taken over the Shinobi lands. And this time, there was no Uzumaki Naru...
Sasuke bolted awake. With a quick glance around the room, he determined was in the Konoha Hospital. He sat there and waited for his breathing to slow down.
"Naruto," the boy whispered.
He clenched his fists. Was this a genjutsu? It seemed too real to be one. He even checked for the same birthmark he had when he was four on his upper arm. It had disappeared throughout the years and was not visible later.
Sasuke decided something. Genjutsu or not, this time around, he would protect his loved ones. The first thing to do was to stop the Uchiha Massacre.
He had three years to do it. It would be possible.
However, the first course of action was to get out of this stupid hospital bed.
His hand laid on the IV needle, about to pull it out of his arm when the Hokage walked in, followed by Yamanaka Inoichi and his family.
Sasuke stopped his scowl and put on an innocent face. "Hi, Hokage-sama!" he grinned, although he was grimacing on the inside.
The Hokage smiled back. "Hello, Sasuke. How are you feeling?"
