It is like this,
the way it has always been.
The pain comes back, choking me.
As a single tear leads a thousands,
as my lips tremble, not being able to smile.
All the secrets that I used to hide,
they rush out of me,
like blood bursting from a deep wound.
My heads feel light with every single tear,
My heart sighs with each drop of blood.
They always said I was weak,
that this was how I was going to die.
How wrong they were.
I still fight back,
blinking, gasping, reaching out.
And just when the world starts to blur,
someone grabs hold of me.
For the first time in my life,
I'm saved.
