"What!"

"Shush. And for the past week, I have been waking up everyday puking my guts out."

"Do you think you're pregnant?"

"I don't know what else it could be."

"Well, we need to find out and soon." Vanya got up from her bed and went over to her closet and put on her coat, she then throws me one too.

"How?" I ask sitting up.

"Were gonna go buy a test." She reaches to the top shelf of her closet and grabs her purse.

"How do you know about this?" I say following her out, putting the coat on.

"While you guys train, I read. Come this way." She grabs my hand and pulls me out the back door. We go through the back alley over to the next street. We look over our shoulder and run across the street we run for a few blocks before stopping catching our breath. 

"How long do you think we have until they show up to get us?" I say out of breath.

"I think we have a pretty good head start on then. But I give them 2 hours before they find us."

"Well, let's go and do this then." I link my arm with hers and we go walk into the corner store. The store owner gives us a weird look but we keep walking back to the store to where they kept the tests at. I grabbed two and we walked back up to the counter Vanya put some snacks down on it before I put down the test in an attempt to hide it. The guy scanned everything, but when he got to the tests he stopped. He looked at me then at Vanya and then at me again, he scanned the two test and put them in the bag with the rest of the things. 

"20.25." The owner says with a deep raspy voice. 

"Here." Vanya says handing him some money, counted it opened the cash register and gave her the correct change. I grabbed the bag while she put the change and receipt in her bag, we both said thank you and left.

"What do you think he thinks of us?" I ask.

"Probably that were some fast girls or something." 

"Who says fast girls anymore?" I laugh.

"Shut up." Vanya says pushing me gently I push her back. We walk all the way to Griddy's doughnuts, the place we all like to hang out at on our one day off a month. We both order some doughnuts Vanya orders a coffee and I order a glass of milk because of the circumstances.

"I can't believe we pulled that off." I say taking a sip of my milk.

"Technically we haven't pulled it off yet because we aren't home yet."

"Semantics."

"So how do you think Diego is gonna react?"

"Honestly I have no idea. I'm more scared of what dad is gonna do to us, to be honest."

"No matter what I am here for you. You know that right?" Vanya grabs my hands and squeezes them tightly.

"I know." We both smile at each other. Someone coughs and we turn our attention to where the noise was coming from. I was ready to defend my sister at all cost. But when I saw where the noise was coming from my heart sank. Standing before us was, Luther, Ben, Klaus, Allison, and Diego all dressed in their umbrella academy suits.

"Dad is looking for you." Allison says.

"He wants you both home now." Luther says in a commanding voice.

"And if we refuse?" I say taking another bite of the doughnut. 

"We'll bring you back." Luther says.

"You really wanna do this in front of everyone?" 

"Lizzie." Vanya says giving me a look telling me to stop. I smirk at her and turn my attention back to Luther still smirking.

"If I have to I will."

"Elizabeth let's just go please." Diego chimes in. Remembering why we left and seeing him made me have a slight panic attack.

"Way to take all the fun out of it." I say getting up from the table, Vanya gets up and puts money on the table paying our bill. I take the bag and grab Vanya's hand keeping her close to me. She was my weak spot if anyone hurt her I don't know what I would do with myself. I keep her close to me as we walk out of the shop. She goes into the bag and takes the tests out and places them in my pocket. I look at her and she winks at me, I lay my head on her shoulder knowing that our punishment will soon start. So I enjoy this moment because this will be the last enjoyable moment I have for a while.

~End of flashback.

"I can't believe he's actually gone." A voice says behind me. I turn around and see my big brother, emphasis on big.

"Oh, joy Space boy is here." I say.  

"How are you Lyza?" Luther says hugging me.

"I'm ok how are you?"

"Fine. Is he here?"

"Yeah, he's upstairs."

"I can't imagine he's looking forward to seeing me."

"Your probably right." I laugh.

"Its good to see you laugh I haven't seen you laugh in about 13 years."

"Well, we all know why that is." I say.

"Anyone else here yet?"

"Nope."

"You think Vanya will show up?"

"I hope so. I haven't seen her in years. After her book came out, Deigo said I could never speak to her again. We write letters back and forth but I still miss being around her." 

"Well, I hope she comes then."

"Me too."
