Summary

What happens when a rich woman falls for a poor man?

20 year old Isabella Davis is the sole heir to Davis Fashion Industries, the top jewelry and fashion company in the world. She has always dreamed of marrying for love. Her mother wants her to marry for the sake of the company.

26 year old Alexander Knight has been poor his whole life. After his parents died 10 years ago, he's been the sole guardian of his now 13 year old little sister.

Isabella's mother has come up with an idea. Pay a poor man to make Isabella fall in love with them and then break her heart to show her that there is no real love in this world, only cruel, money hungry people.

What happens when Isabella's mother picks Alexander for her to fall in love with? Things become complicated when not only Isabella falls in love, but Alexander as well.

This story revolves around Isabella Davis. If you read my first story She Was Ugly then you know that she had a couple cameos in that story. She wasn't a main character.

This book is a stand alone. You can read whichever one first it doesn't matter. But there might be one or two spoilers in here for She Was Ugly.

Edit: I'm putting this right here as an announcement of sorts. I have started working on a new story called Fated to Hate You. I will start uploading chapters for that story starting July 20. I haven't figured out a time yet, but I will keep you guys updated.

The story is about to teenagers who are destined to hate each other. Their parents hate each other, and so do their grandparents. But eventually, they are forced to get along because of a school project and end up falling in love.

I know this might sound cliche, but please check it out before you judge. You never know if you'll like it or not.

Anyways, this means that the updates for this story might be coming every 2 weeks instead of once a week. I hope you guys are okay with this.
