It's later that day and everyone is getting ready for graduation.
And now Maya is nerves.
She can't help but wonder what is going to happen next and within two weeks she is married.
She doesn't know what to do about everything but she knows that she'll survive.
Later at graduation everyone is sitting and waiting for it to begin.
Josh has Raven so that is much easier for Maya to handle the day.
Everyone gets called up.
And after Riley it's Maya who gets called up.
She takes her deploma and goes to the mic.
She looks at everyone and takes a deep breath.
"Hope's for suckers. That was honestly what I believed for the first thirteen years of my life. People came in and out of my life. Some stayed and other left with time. One of the people which stayed in my life for the longest time has grown close to me. My History teacher from middle to high school. Mr Cornelius Matthews. You taught me everything I know. His wife, Topanga, and son, Auggie. You guys taught me more than anyone could. My best friend, Riley, and all my other friends which has been a part of my life for the past five years. I really can't thank you guys enough. And then there's my fiancé, Joshua Matthews. You were the first person I told a lot of things to. The first guy I loved. And also the last. I am eternally grateful to be able to call you my fiancé. And I am so excited to walk our new path with you. And last there is my sister. Who probably drives me crazy every day but who will always have a place in my heart. I love every one of you and I hope to have you in my life for as long as time.
