"3 hours" she said, counting how long she was in there for. She couldn't help but yawn. She patted her wounds, trying to see if she was still in pain. She could barley feel anything now. She felt fine. She walked down the hall but stopped once she came across a hall she's never seen.

She walked down that hall, the only thing there being a door at the very end. It was a double door. She wrapped her hand around the knob only to quickly realize its locked. She grabbed the other one. Locked as well.

There wasn't any windows to look inside. She looked around it seeing faint cobwebs in the corners.

"Hasn't been opened in a while huh?" She whispered to herself before shrugging.

"What are you doing here?"

Clare jumped, his voice startling her. A nervous smile plastered on her face.

"I just found myself wondering the place"

"Well I hope you wonder ass out" he said coldly and Clare nodded, walking past him. He walked beside her.

"Did you finish the documents?"

"Yes, master"

Lucas couldn't help but smirk a her response. His eyes trailing down her back.

"The dress suits you" he said and Clare instantly remembered how short the dress was. She tried to pull it down.

"Let's not stare, shall we?" She asked embarrassed. Lucas chucked as he grabbed her hair softly. Almost as if he was toying with her.

"I don't know, it's entertaining"

Clare gulped nervously, her heart slowly starting to speed up.

"It's about time your family comes over. I should start cooking" she said, taking her hair back from his hand.

"Of course. You're cooking soup for us. I left a recipe by the stove. They should be here in an hour or so. You have plenty of time. Now hurry" he said, giving her a small push and Clare ran off.

He watched her leave with a straight face before walking towards his room, taking out a chain from his dresser.

.

"Alright and now I just let it boil for 30 minutes" Clare said and she puts the lid on the pot. She started throwing away parts of vegetables that weren't eatable. She puts the stuff she used into the sink. She turned on the water and began to wash the dishes.

After, she checked the soup. Taking a spoon to taste it herself.

"Wow this is good" she said with a smile.

"I hope there's leftovers"

"Why hope? Just serve yourself a plate and put it in the fridge for later" Lucas said once he walked in the kitchen.

"Good idea. Are you sure I can?"

"I wouldn't have given you the idea if I didn't you want you to take some"

Clare nodded, agreeing he had a good point. She happily served herself a bowl before putting it in the fridge.

"Thank you..master" she said a bit hesitantly but Lucas just smiled. Suddenly there was a knock on the door.

"I'll get it, you serve" he said and was off. Clare waited to see how many there was gonna be. She counted one by one as they walked in.

"Oh just three" she muttered and began to serve. They sat down, waiting. Clare walked into the room.

"Good evening everyone" she said politely as she placed the plates down.

"Shit Luke you got yourself a fine ass maid" Jacob said towards Lucas and he rolled his eyes. Jacob being his older brother.

"Pervert"  he said and Jacob burst out laughing.

"Like you're not one." He said between laughs, Lucas ignoring his comeback. After Clare finished serving them Lucas stood up.

"Excuse me father" he said and then looked at Clare.

"Clare" he said with a small nod, as to tell her to follow him.

"Excuse me as well" she said and bowed before walking off with Lucas.

"How did I do?" She asked with a small smile and Lucas rolled his eyes.

"Could be better"

"What?!"

Lucas laughed softly as he walked into the library, closing the door behind Clare.

"Stay still" he said and Clare did as she was told. She heard the sounds of chains.

"What are you doing?" She asked, being alerted. Wanting to turn around but not being allowed too. Suddenly she heard the click of a lock.

"Done" Lucas said and Clare looked down.

The chain being locked around her ankle.
