In the continuum of all the worlds, there is an army of terrifying beings who make sure everything is in balance.
If an interworld dimension is disturbed, destroyed, or sealed shut, these beings feel it in their fire-composed bones. The feeling begins as a shiver slithering down their spines and moves up to an all-encompassing agony that sends the being screaming in anguish.
These beings felt it when the magical dimension in the Shifter World sealed shut.
Oh, they felt it and they all screamed and space caught on fire with those cries.
As the army cried out in anguish, they got their fire-spears ready to evoke terror on the Shifter World. Their army lined up, tongued their teeth, and bled themselves into the clouds that covered the Shifter World to watch what was going on.
The sky in the Shifter World turned red from the fire of their weapons.
The assassins from the clouds bristled, ready to start a revolution.
