With my sleepy eyes i walk to the bathroom to take a shower. I take off my clothes and open the showercurtain.
"What the- wow i'm sorry" i say and close the curtain again.
Shit, i totaly forgot that Shawn lived here again.
"It's okay, it's nothing you haven't seen yet" he says from behind the curtain.
"Ha ha funny Shawn, hurry up, i wanna be ready before Ivelle wakes up..... she needs her breakfast"
"Chill, i can make it for her"
"Yeah sure, the last time you almost burned the house down, c'mon Shawn hurry please"
At that moment i hear Ivelle call my name.
"Mommy?"
"Yeah, mommy is comming baby"
Quickly i grab a robe and put it over my body.
I take her out of bed.
"Do you feel beter mi amore?"
"Yeah i feel not sick anymore"
I smile and give her a kiss.
"Good, are you hungry?"
She nods her head.
I grab her hand and walk her to the kitchen.
Shawn walks in.
"If you wanna borrow my robe, you could've asked you know" he says.
"Sorry, i just grabbed something"
"It's okay, anyway, i was early awake this morning so i grabbed us some breakfast"
"Really?"
"Yeah, a croisant for Ivelle, a caramel machiato for myself and a sandwitch."
"That's uhm- nice"
"Jess?"
"Hhmm?"
"Pumpkin spice latte with extra milk, and extra cinnamon and a croisant, right?"
I smile.
"You remember?"
"You're hard to forget" he says.
"Daddy, i'm hungry"
"You've heard it dad" i say and walk towards the shower.
30 minutes later i step out of the shower.
"Jeez Shawn, you scared me again"
"Haha sorry"
"Never heard of knocking?"
He doesn't say a thing.
"Get out, i'm naked!"
He smiles and leaves the shower.
So there is a huge heatwave in my country (the Netherlands) it's around 40 degrees and it's killing all of us lol. My airconditioning is not even cooling anymore. How warm is it in your country? Xoxo
