Hi! My name is Mara and this is my first official attempt at a story on this platform!

I have tried to begin writing a story before, to no avail. But I decided I would try again with a bit of a different vibe. 

This is my first attempt at a historical fiction story. I love reading them and the idea of creating one has always interested me. But a lot goes into creating a historical story, whether you are sticking to actual history or creating a world of your own! I am trying to create a new world, using European geography and countries that I have switched around and renamed. Please, this is a lot to try to attempt (props to every historical fiction writer) so bear with me. If I make a mistake, just kindly leave a comment so I can edit accordingly. I am trying to do my best to make this an involved story that isn't boring to read. I mean, it'll be a bit boring in the beginning, but don't worry! It's just world-establishing and such, but I have a lot planned for this story and I'm so excited to share it with you all!
