Is This What You People Think Angels Look Like?

This story takes place after season 5

"Come on Dean....We constantly LIVE Halloween.... why do we have to go to a cheesy costume store?" said the taller Winchester.

"Well, Scrooge McDuck-"

"Wrong holiday..." Sam interrupted

"Excuse me for wanting to show this little guy" Dean said pulling in Cas closer to him "A happy and traditional Halloween."

"Traditional isn't in the Winchester vocabulary, Dean."

"It is when girls wear dresses that barely cover their-"

"ALRIGHT Dean....Let's go!" Sam said interrupting his brother a second time, and almost jogging out of the motel door.

When the 3 men arrived, Dean told Cas he would meet him inside. This is when he searched through his torn up wallet and threw 10 singles at Sam, who was about to open the car door.

"Since we've been so busy with hunts and everything....I haven't spent much time alone with Cas" Dean said, flashing a look of "Please Sammy! Do this for me."

"Fine...I get it." Sam said laughing

"I better have the change back...that's our money for lunch, so don't buy something too pretty" Dean said through a cheeky grin and a wink

"You didn't have to give me money, Dean!" Sam practically yelled as his brother shut the door of the car

upon enetring the store, Dean found Castiel staring intently at a bottle reading; "Fake Blood"

"hmph" Castiel grunted, putting it back on the shelf, and then turning around to face his friend

"You're going to love this place!" Dean said grabing Castiel's hand and pulling him toward the animatronic monsters

While being pulled to the other side of the store, Cas smiled, knowing that he was holding hands with the cutest mortal in the world

"How do you know about this stuff?" Cas asked, pointing around the store

"Sometimes when I watched after Sammy, I would take him to these stores and show him how inaccurate these portrayals are. It always made us laugh" Dean replied

"Example A, Dean said holding up a picture of the classic movie vampire, who was wearing a cape."

Thiss whole concept of Halloween and Trick or Treating confused Castiel, as most things did. He never understood why children would dress up as these monsters, who were in fact real, and ask strangers for candy. But after asking each Winchester boy twice, Castiel dealed with the fact that it was a tradition.

"Hey look, they have a mask of Sammy in here!" Dean joked, holding up the ugliest mask he could find

"This isn't Sam..." Cas replied taking the mask off Dean's head.

"Sarcasm Cas" Is all Dean had to say, which then made the angel tilt his head, trying to get the joke

Along with the explanation of Halloween, Dean taught the concept of sarcasm to the angel, in an attempt to make Castiel more "normal" whilst in public. It also came in handy seeing as Sam used sarcasm in almost every one of his sentences.

"Step here?" Cas said obeying the sign on the floor and causing the Frankenstein anamatronic in front of him to start talking

As the Frankenstein started, Castiel pulled out his handy knife out of his long trench coat and pointed it at the toy in front of him.

This earned some pretty strange looks from the small child and his mother looking at the costumes next to them

"woah buddy, it isn't real..." Dean said slapping the anamatronic in the face. "none of this is... See the fun?!" Dean also said while giving a big goofy smile

"Sarcasm again?" Cas asked

Dean just sighed and grabbed the adorable angle's hand again, this time pulling him over to the woman's costumes

"And this, my fine boy, is the reason Many men, including me, love October 31st"

"Nurses costume? I thought nurses wore scrubs.." stated Castiel who pointed at the picture on the package, and then looked back up at Dean.

"Not on Halloween they don't" Dean simply stated walking in the other direction down the aisle

After some time looking through the woman's costumes, Castiel found a gem.

"An angel?.....This is completely off.... Short dress... small white wings....and a halo?" Castiel stated, sounding disgusted

Dean just chuckled, along with the employee behind them stocking the shelves

After starring at the package some more, Castiel let out a little laugh, realizing how clueless most of the world was

As Dean was checking out,Castiel brought up the angel costume they had laughed about earlier

"This too" said Castiel placing the costume on the check out table

Dean stared at the package, and then at Cas and said "why are you getting this?"

"Sarcasm" Cas simply said and then gave a proud look to the teenage cashier, who couldn't care less. Instead of correcting the angel on his mistake, Dean just mouthed "good job" at Castiel, making him beam with happiness.

As soon as they left the store, Dean opened up a bag of candy an threw one into his mouth. Barely looking up, he saw his paitient brother waiting in the car at the closest parking spot to the store. Motioning Sam to get out the drivers seat in his beloved Impala, he pulled out something from his bag and hid it behind his back.

"I got you a surprise." Dean said, chewing a mini Kit Kat

"Oh yea....Lemme see."

Dean then handed Sam a very skimpy woman's Devil costume and got into the car quickly, avoiding his brothers awaited outburst.
