"Ray, what is.."
He then glanced at the corpse in her room. Seeing she was stuffed like some creepy doll.
"...Wanda?!" His head screamed at him. Though externally, Zack remained silent. Unable to fathom what was going on. His almost girlfriend was acting strange... And to make things freakier, she was keeping the corpse of his rapist. And possibly the corpses of her parents. Making them all into patchwork.
He looked back at Rachel, pointing at the corpse, not sure what to say about any of it.
Rachel however, did the talking for him.
"She was hurting you, Zack. I had to get rid of her!"
Rachel's smile was wide and sinister. Completely unhinged. "Aren't you happy? Now that she's finally gone you don't have to be raped by someone with plastic in her chest!"
Zack continued staring at her. Wide eyed in disbelief. "I... I.. I guess...?" He didn't know how to answer her properly.
Then he glanced at his bat and jacket.
"What even...." He murmured.
Rachel continued smiling creepily. No naturalness to it at all. Like it was forced.
"You're free now. You don't have to worry about her Anymore. I made her perfect too! Just like mom and dad!"
Despite the smile tears started to leave her eyes.
"But this won't do..."
He could tell something was seriously wrong with her. If it hadn't already been apparent from the corpses and her literally fucking his old, dirty, banged up, bat.
Despite her behavior, the tears made him feel strange about it all. Like she wasn't even remotely in control of herself. Nor enjoyed what she was doing.
"Why she crying now..?"
He looked at her, staying silent for the moment.
The tears still left her eyes in a heavy stream even as she smiled like something out of a horror film.
"Oh well. Looks like I don't have much choice..."
She pointed the gun at him.
"Become mine, Zack!"
"Become...My perfect senpai... My Zack."
Zack realized she really was losing it.
"Wait! Ray! Wait!"
He panicked slightly when the gun is pointed at her. "Look, I have no fuckin' clue what's going on...But I do know that nothing's gonna change if you do shoot me! Get a hold of yerself, damn it! Just, please! Don't do this! Lemme help you!"
She froze up at that.
"A negotiation?"
She was smiling like a psychopath. But she lowered her weapon slightly. Her features relaxed. But only for a moment.
Zack took the opportunity and ran. "Eh.. I guess. Whatever ya want to call it. Look, ya don't have to shoot me! Just put the gun down!"
She laughed a little in reply.
"Oh no! I won't shoot you Zack! I actually had something different in mind..."
He didn't like the sound of that for some reason. But he listened in anyway.
"Huh? And that is?..." He was relieved she wouldn't shoot him. Anything but dying, he guessed.
"You have to catch me first.~"
She was toying with him. Acting as though she'd reverted back to a child. He doesn't really get it. Catch her? Though his thoughts were interrupted as he heard the gun fire. Zack gritted his teeth as the bullet just barely missed his shoulder.
"Ray, what the fuck?!" That made him real pissed off as he stormed his way towards her. Before he could grab her, Rachel quickly ran down the creaky wooden steps. Already having traps set in certain areas of the house for an unsuspecting Zack.
She planned for this.
Zack did the best he could to avoid any of the more fatal traps. Finding a hidden key in a toilet, battling the piranhas Ray kept as pets, and unfortunately, being coaxed by a very hot pizza. After that, Zack had enough of the childish games. He went after her. Full force.
She was laughing and running as fast as she could. Trying to make him fall for various other traps she had set.
"Over here!" She called to him.
He didn't fall for it as easily as before. He got through them okay, and ended up in the kitchen. Rachel pulled an item out. Showing it to him. Zack's eyes widened as he saw a single flicker of light in the firmly lit room
Freezing up as his eyes remained locked onto lighter.
"Ray... Don't play with fire.."
She counted down as he tried coming closer
"3...2...1..."
Rachel made a break for it as the stove exploded in his face. Resulting in embers flying up towards him. Scorching the floor near him. It was clear she wasn't aiming to kill. Only to slow him down.
Still. The sight of the flames caused him to feel uneasy. As he had a phobia thanks to past experiences.
Disoriented, Zack groaned and covered his face with his arm. He looked around as Rachel disappeared. Still feeling dazed from being knocked to the floor by the blast. Unbeknownst to him, Ray was making her way towards the basement. Leaving the top floor completely silent as her bare feet padded against wood somewhere off in the distance.
Zack heard the faint pitter patter but was unable to locate her.
"Ray?! Where are you?!"
