Family reunions can be stressful
Meeting people you never met
Shaking hands with cousins
Scared that you don't fit in.
The ride there can be long
It can be short even
But it won't stop
The fear inside.
Once you get there your supposed to mingle
Your supposed to feel comfortable
Your not supposed to be upset or angry
But you are.
Family can sometimes be hardheadedFamily can sometimes not understand you
Family can sometimes mock you for being you
Family's not supposed to do that.
Family reunions can be stressful
Tiring even
At the end of the day it's family your meeting
And family is forever.
