"Wake yo ass up" Tae jumped on the bed

"Ughh leave me alone" I pulled the blankets over my head

"Nope you gotta go to school today hoe" he pulled the covers off of me

"Fuck you" I got out of bed and stomped to the bathroom to do my hygiene

I came out of the bathroom and got dressed in some sweats and threw my hair in a bun

I grabbed my phone and purse since I had the night off

I walked in to the living room and tae was waiting on the couch

"Hell no you finna be 18 and walking around like this? Mm mm no not my bestfriend we transforming yo ass this weekend" he grabbed his keys

"I mean I guess your right... I was thinking about moving out to my own place I cant handle my momma or her boyfriends anymore and I found a nice apartment too"

We left his apartment and got in the car

I sat my purse inside and grab my books be heading to homeroom

"Good morning miss Fletcher" Mr. Robinson said

I nodded my head and took a seat in the far back corner

After a long lecture about bullying drugs or whatever he was talking about I headed to my second period class

I was sitting in my desk trying to solve the equation on the board when the door opened

"Mr. Brewster how nice of you to join us today"

"Ight where I'm supposed to sit" he sounded inpatient

"You can sit next to Ms. Fletcher"

He looked at me and I could tell he probably didn't recognize me

He sat down and stared off into space

I was almost done wit my paper when he tapped me on my shoulder

"What's it gone take to get you to do my paper?" He licked his lips

"Why don't you just ask me HOW to do it instead of flirting to get out of it"

"Its not like ima graduate or make it out of Harlem what's the point?"
