MAFIA | PARK JIMIN (COMPLETED)

A special note - Must read.

With Jena's brothers, I needed someone who were fierce in their looks and also known faces which were easier for the readers to remember and picture. The other choices for me was the JYP fam — Taecyeon from 2PM, Jaebum from GOT7 and Minho from Stray Kids. But then after much debate and also because I wanted Taemin and Taeyong's rhyming names, I settled on the SM idols.

STELLA

Stella was probably the hardest for me to select. There was only a handful of options for me to choose from. I needed someone sexy who could play a seductress too. So after lord knows how long, I settled on Hyuna.

Now, please note that I love Hyuna. And I absolutely have no bad intention by associating her with an evil character. The only reason I selected Hyuna was how effortlessly sexy she is in everything she does. And hence she was my best choice for Stella. My other choices were Lee Hyori but then pairing her with Jimin looked weird so I scraped that idea.

DANIEL LEE

The moment I wrote Daniel Lee's character, I knew who I had to put as the Lee Mafia Head.

If you have seen Iris, you probably know how good an actor Lee Byung Hun is. For Daniel Lee, I needed a face that was serious enough and also looked old enough to be father to the Lee brothers and Jena.

ZHANG YUKHEI

For Yukhei's character, I did the most random thing I could and that was joining Lay and Lucas's names to form a character who was Chinese. But both Lay and Lucas are goody boys to play a villain and hence here is my pick for Yukhei.

Yes, Dylan Wang. LOL. I loved him in meteor garden and I for some way wanted to put him in the book too. And that is how he became Yukhei. And also because he has an excellent resting male bitch face and looks extremely intimidating too.

CHOI SIWON

Well Siwon is Siwon. And I ran out of names and characters for the Choi Mafia lead. So I recalled all actors and idols with the surname Choi who could fit in and would make my work easy. The top contenders were Choi Siwon, Choi Minho and TOP from BB. But then Minho is so young and sweet looking, I couldn't make him a mafia lord. With TOP, he just did not fit the role of Mafia and whenever I look at him, he just gives me the Bingu TOP vibe. Hence, I thought Siwon was the best.

THE PARK TRIPLETS (TAEMIN, MIYOUNG AND AREUM)

Honestly I cannot find anyone to play this trio. So if you find someone who matches the description well, comment and I will add them.

Update !!!! : I think I just found the perfect triplets.

Ateez Wooyoung — Park Taemin

This guy is a splitting image of Jimin so he was obviously the best choice to play Taemin.

Dreamcatcher Siyeon — Park Miyoung (Top right)

Siyeon looks so badass and has this fierce vibe which was perfect for Miyoung.

CLC Seunghee — Park Areum
(Bottom right)

I love how cute and delicate Seunghee is so she made a good Areum.
