The ship was off, you did smell something foul, but it was faint yet also potent at the same time. You scowled slightly, it was hard to tell if the ship was a stand or stand user, recalling that there are objects that can be stands your eyes narrowed at the ship. You heard the faint voices of Mr. Joestar and Jotaro having a conversation, once the beat neared the steps of the ship you followed after the men with a sense of unease increasing. Jotaro definitely noticed your state of extreme caution, your eyes darted everywhere and you turned your head in the direction of any small sound that caught your attention, he walked over to you once you brought your fist under your chin, "Something up (Y/n)?", he asked, you briefly sniffed the air, "I can smell a hostile, but my problem is that I can't locate the source", a growl rumbled from your chest, "The smell is everywhere around me, faint yet strong".
Jotaro frowns at your answer as he saw your pupils briefly changed into cat-like slits before you two were called over by Mr. Joestar. You went elsewhere as everyone else headed into the control room, once they got back Mr. Joestar went straight to you, "Any luck (Y/n)?", he asked, you shook your head, "No, but something is definitely here ", you respond as a noise caught yours and Mr. Joestar's attention, looking at where Avdol and the sailor were your gut twisted, "Avdol! That sailor! Watch out!", Mr. Joestar shouts as you immediately turned around, only to frown with a slight wince as the hook stabbed into the unfortunate sailor. The girl screamed at the sight making you scowl at your slow reflex time to shield her eyes, Jotaro did it anyways even though she already saw the bloody mess, "Aw good grief, that isn't any way to greet a lady you haven't met before, now is it?", he huffs, you stare at the body as a small shiver tingled down your spine, the sight brought up some of your.... unpleasant memories. The sailors panicked and started chattering among themselves while you stared at the mess, "Keep your guard up, there's someone hostile here!", Mr. Joestar announces as you relaxed your form to focus as Mr. Joestar started to bark out orders, "I'll go with them", you say suddenly catching the attention of the stand users, "Are you sure (Y/n)?", Avdol asks.
You put your hands in the pockets of your jacket as your eyes briefly glowed, pupils shifting into cat-like slits before changing back, giving the others your back you spoke, "They aren't stand users, who's to say that the enemy wouldn't go after them first, besides I have some hamon on my side", with that you followed after the sailors and the girl, as you did you sniffed the air and focused very carefully. The ship was off, very off, and you hatted if with every fiber of your being. You walked steadily with your hands in your pockets, steadying your breath a familiar yellow-violet glow swarmed around your hand before you slowly brought it up to the nearest wall, the effects were immediate. The ship was definitely a stand, and its user was on the ship. Your eyes narrowed as you immediately retracted your hand and ran, as you could to find the others and you really desperately hoped that the sailors and the girl were okay. You grit your teeth as you pushed yourself to run faster as your gut twisted, then you heard it; the screaming and the roar.
You barely noticed Jotaro near as you flung the door open and saw that ape nearing the kid, "Hey shit face!", your voice boomed as Wild Card automatically appeared behind you, "Stay the fuck away from the girl!", you growl along with Wild Card as she punches/clawed the ape's face as you cover the girl. With your back to the ape, you prepared for it to attack but Jotaro's appearance made you smirk as he used a lock to punch it back before throwing the lock at its face, "Take your lock you stinking ape!", he scowls as you wrap the nearest towel to cover the girl, you shielded her as you made your way to the exit when the ape grabbed Jotaro's caller. "Kujo!", "Seems like this ape isn't your run-of-the-mill of monkey, could it be that he's the one-", Jotaro spoke more to himself as the ape went for a kick only to be blocked by Star Platinum, "Kujo the fan-!", your warning came too late as it broke off and embedded itself into Jotaro's shoulder, he grunted at the pain before he glared at the laughing ape, "Wait, who the hell ripped out that fan? Had to be him, so this ape is the stand user but where's the stand? I should be able to see the damn thing but I can't, it doesn't make any sense", he hissed as you made eye contact with him. "You answered your own question Kujo, and you're seeing it already, this ship is the stand", you reveal, his eyes briefly widen before both of your attention went to the ape who seemingly grinned, when the fan suddenly swayed and bent you shouted, "Get that fan out of your shoulder-!", before Jotaro to do anything he was smacked into a door and fell just outside of the fallen door, you covered the girl's body with their own as the ape hopped in glee.
You dodged an attack before picking up the kid and running out of the room as the ape itself attacked Jotaro, setting the girl down you grabbed her shoulders before handing her the clothes you managed to pick up on your way out, "Go to the farthest room and don't come back you hear me?", "But-", "Go kid, this is going to get ugly", you say before pushing her forward, she ran as you turn to look at Jotaro, immediately noticing the apes' absence. "Where's the girl?", Jotaro asks, "I sent her away, not the best choice but I have a feeling the ape would want something more", you shudder at the thought of using yourself as bait, "Are you saying-?!, "Yeah, I don't like it but if it keeps the ape's attention away from the kid... It would be a better option", you frown as you cut off Jotaro, he in return gave you a narrowed gaze. You breathe deeply, "Hamon ground tremble!", you shout as hamon traveled down to your feet as you stomped on the ground, locating the stand user your eyes widened, "Kujo behind-!", you were cut off as poles latched onto you and pulled you flat on your back to the ground while Jotaro was stuck to the wall with his Star Platinum. "Wild Card!, you shout, your stand roared and before it could leap for an attack it was stopped by more poles, "Damn- you son of a-!", Jotaro cursed as he glared at the ape, when the ape fully stepped out it was dressed in a captain's uniform and held out a dictionary pointing at a word, while you couldn't make out what it said, you can faintly make out "ngth", he put it down to smoke a pipe and pulled out a Rubik's Cube as you carefully observed his movements.
"Ora!", Star Platinum pulled out a pipe only two be restrained once more, the ape laughed as you scowled at the thing, "This ape thinks he's won already", you think and it's arrogance causes your anger to flare, from it sounds you could tell that it was boasting of your defeat as it then crushed the cube. A growl escaped your throat causing its attention to shift to you, it licked its mouth at your vulnerable form with your legs slightly parted and arms pinned to your sides, it exhaled air through its nose as it steps towards you. You bare your teeth as the ape neared until it suddenly stopped when a small 'clang' caught your attention, it turned its head to Jotaro and rubbed its back head as it picked up whatever Jotaro threw, "Over here monkey, the button is not part of your stand", but it looked like it was fuming as Jotaro continued, "Tch, are you angry? I guess they're ruined your pride since you thought you've already beaten us", you smirked at Jotaro's taunts, "Oh, it's not hurt at all is it, because it's like you don't have any Pride", it roared and anger and leaped at Jotaro for a moment you were concerned until Jotaro spoke up again. "That's exactly what makes you an ape and not a man, what's going to hurt now- is your head!", you saw Star Platinum's index and middle finger extend and flicked Jotaro's button out of the ape's finger and into its forehead. The wound looked deep. Blood came from the ape's eyes as a rolled on its back, you were able to get up on your own and stood next to Jotaro as you dusted yourself, "Good grief", he sighed as you cracked your knuckles while the ape backed into a corner and revealed its stomach, "I've heard that when frightened, animals show their stomach to signal their submission to their enemy, so you're asking me to forgive you?", Jotaro asked, it hesitantly nodded as you grinned.
"I'm afraid your actions have gone beyond the rules of the Jungle, so I don't think so", he scowls, "Hey Jotaro, want to know a fun little fact", you grin lazily at him as he rose eyebrow at you, you summoned Wild Card again, "An orangutan's natural predator is a tiger and a leopard, Wild Card; base Lion to Tiger!", you roar. Jotaro summoned Star Platinum and both stands attacked, "RA RA RA RA RA RRRRRAAAAAA!/Ora Ora Ora Ora Oooraaa!", they bellow their war cries until the ape was sent flying. When this ship started distorting you groaned, "Let's go, hey kid where are you!", you run to the girl as she pops her head out of her room.
Again you found yourselves in a small boat, drifting yet again, and while the girl was hesitant with your offer to use you as her pillow she eventually submitted and leaned on your chest. You smiled as you run your fingers through her hair while purrs rumbled from your chest, a few of the others stared at you and slight confusion and surprise. You rose a brow, "What?", it was quiet for a moment until Polnareff decided to ask, "You can purr like a cat?".
