The night was like any other night, dark and stormy as I worked my case at any angle I could...
"so it was the husband!" I announce to myself in my office alone.
I collect up all the files that had gathered over the last 3 days of working on this case and put out my cigarette. After neatly putting them all together in a presentable way I stand up and walk out of my office and into the captains
"I solved it..it was the husband..go make the arrest!" I say staring at a wide-eyed captain Boyd...
"lieutenant I'm in a meeting!" I realise two other people are looking at me as surprised as him.
"but I solved the case here you go," I say as I throw the case folder onto his desk and walk out.
hours pass as I wait for a new case to come in "How long does it take to kill someone!" I yell impatiently spinning in my chair.
suddenly a police officer charges through the door "lieutenant there's been a massacre"

I cross the tape and show my badge "what happened here?"
"a homeless guy called the police on a payphone when he walked into the abandoned warehouse and found them" a police officer informs me
"let me see the bodies," I say
he leads me into the warehouse "oh.my god"
A circle of bodies positioned on chairs with their heads ripped off and put back on their head
"the heads don't match any of the bodies," he says
"Has forensics and CSI done everything they need to?" I ask
"Yeah they cleared out about 5 minutes before you got here," he says
"clear the room I want it to myself," I say
"what? why? what are you gonna do" He asks as if worried I'm going to something weird to them
"It's part of my process to read the scene and figure out what happened" I inform him
