Chapter 5 - The Trip

It's four in the morning and Megan's alarm goes off.
Maya wakes up and sits up.

"Time to get up?" Maya asked and rubs her eyes.
"Yeah," Megan said and got up.
"Gosh. It's way too early for me to function. What about coffee?"
"Yeah. Where can I change?" Maya asked.
"In my closet. I'll be right back," Megan said.

Maya got dressed and then she quickly did her hair.
She decided on some curls for a prettier look.
She then does her make-up and decided on something natural.
Within ten minutes she's done and then Megan got back.

"Here you go. You look pretty," Megan said.
"Thanks. Megan do you have any idea what your mom's maiden name was?" Maya asked.
"No why?" Megan asked.
"Just wondering. Feel like I know her from somewhere," Maya said.
"I'm gonna get dressed," Megan said.

It was just a few minutes later when Morgan came in.

"Ah you're awake. Is she still busy getting ready?" Morgan asked.
"Went to the bathroom," Maya said.
"We're leaving in ten minutes," Morgan said.
"I'll tell her to hurry," Maya said and Morgan left.

"Hey Beauty. Your mom says we're leaving in ten," Maya said.
"Okay. I'm ready. Let's go," Megan said and they went down stairs.

"Ah your father is just loading the car. Do you have everything?"
"Yes Mom," Megan said.
"Yeah I have everything," Maya said.

"Let's get this show on the road. If we go now plus the stops we'll be in NYC by three," Darren said.
"Let the adventure begin," Morgan said and everyone got in the car.
