Shang Ke fell in love with the room at first glance, happily enjoying the view outside his window.
正在这时，管家敲门而入。尚可转头望去，见他牵着一条半人高的白色大狗走过来，先向陆修樊行了一礼，然后弯身将狗绳解开。
Just then, the housekeeper knocked on the door. Shang Ke turned towards the door and saw him lead a white dog that was almost half as tall as a man into the room. He first gave a salute to Lu Xiufan before bending down to untie the dog’s leash.
大狗仰着头，慢悠悠地踱到陆修樊身边，在他腿边蹭了蹭，然后端坐在一旁，审视般地打量尚可。
The big dog tilted his head and slowly wandered to Lu Xiufan’s side, first rubbing against his leg before sitting at his side and giving Shang Ke an assessing look.
尚可与它对视片刻，随即向它伸出一只手。
Shang Ke gazed at the dog’s face a moment before holding out his hand.
大狗矜持地瞥了一眼，而后也伸出自己的爪子，在尚可手心摸了一下，算是认识了。
The big dog shot him a reserved glance before extending his paws, touching Shang Ke in the palm of his hands in acknowledgment.
陆修樊眼中闪过一丝笑意，一手摸了摸大狗的脑袋，一手摸了摸尚可的脑袋，两个都很乖，两个都值得赞。
Lu Xiufan’s eyes flashed with a smile as he petted the dog’s head with one hand and touched Shang Ke’s head with the other; both were good, both were worthy of praise.
尚可和大狗同时朝陆修樊望去，眼中的神采竟然出奇的一致。
Shang Ke and the big dog both looked at Lu Xiufan at the same time with surprisingly similar looks in their eyes.
陆修樊：突然觉得人生好美满……

大狗有一个与它高贵的形象完全不符的名字——雪球。因为它浑身雪白没有一丝杂色，走在雪地上都看不见踪影。陆修樊不在的时候，主要就是它陪在尚可身边。
The big dog’s name, Snowball, didn’t quite match his noble image. Because he was white, without a trace of any other pigment, he could walk across the snow as if he was invisible. When Lu Xiufan left, Snowball’s main duty was to stay at Shang Ke’s side.
“小泽呢？”身上站着雨水的陆修樊回到别墅，没有见到本该来迎接他的人，便问管家。
“Where’s Xiao Ze?” The rain-soaked Lu Xiufan asked the housekeeper when he returned to the villa and didn’t see the man he’d expected to welcome him.
“泽少在5号实验室。”管家一边接过陆修樊脱下的外套，一边回答。
“Young Master Ze is in Laboratory 5,” the housekeeper answered as he took Lu Xiufan’s coat.
“实验室？”陆修樊想起不久前尚可向他申请了一间实验室，说是想要加入精神病毒的研究。陆修樊自然没有拒绝，只当他是想弥补受伤期间无法工作的空缺。
“The laboratory?” Lu Xiufan remembered not long ago Shang Ke had applied to join the lab, saying he wanted to help with research on the mental virus. Lu Xiufan naturally didn’t refuse, thinking he only wanted to make up the time he couldn’t work when he was injured.
