it's been a few days since the incident and jack hadn't really done much. but if anything he got worst. he hadn't gone to class ever since it happened.

days he has spent in his room not really moving from his bed.

the thoughts got worst.

they were taking over his brain more and more.

he was about to crack.

•

corbyn and christina were on the phone talking.

"corbyn i think jack was depressed. it's not that surprising honestly. he didn't want to leave any of us especially zach. so for him to get depressed isn't that far of a reach. and the pressure of college piled on top of it makes it even worst" christina said to her boyfriend

"yeah your right. i just hope he doesn't do anything worst than he already has. and i know it's not his fault what he's done, well it is but it isnt. sorry it's just so much" corbyn says and they start talking more

christina was right. jack was depressed. but no one else knew.

jack raised up in his bed as the thoughts clouded his mind.

"do it"

"go ahead no ones stopping you"

the voices kept telling him to do it

so he did

he walked into the bathroom and grabbed the bottle, unscrewed the lid and swallowed them all.

he got dizzy and fell to the floor as his eyes went dark.

the poor broken boy cracked and no one was there to help.

"jack!!" his mom screamed as she walked in on her baby boy laying lifeless on the cold floor

she called 911 and they came instantly hooking him up to the machines and taking him to the hospital.

she grabbed his phone from the floor and quickly went with the EMTS

they arrived at the hospital as jack was still laying lifeless with just a subtle heartbeat keeping him alive.

kristin had to stay in the waiting room as her son was taken back

she checked his phone to see it with out a password

she clicked on and saw the messages

she saw where he hadn't talked to anyone until he cut all ties with his friends

things finally clicked

jack was severely depressed and even suicidal and that's what lead to the events of today

she quickly called zach and told him what had happened.

of course he broke down. she ended the call to call the rest of her family like sydnie and her mom and dad.

zach broke down after answering the call.

he fell to his knees as loud sobs escaped his lips.

he dropped his phone as his hands hit the floor. he balled up his fists and slammed them against the hardwood floor. again and again.

chloe walked in on the events and quickly rushed to her best friend to comfort him.

he explained through cries about what happened and a few tears escaped her eyes as she continued comforting zach.

he calmed down some. enough to tell his friends.

he texted the group chat and they flipped out.

the friends all over the country cried.

it was thanksgiving break which meant the couples were together. instead of a happy time they cried over their friend.

zach hated himself at the moment and he blamed himself for the events.

"i wish we could have helped him. i wish we could have saved him from doing it. me and you figured out what was wrong but zach didn't and i hate that. he's heartbroken" christina says with a frown as her and corbyn laid in bed

"i know chrissy. i feel so bad for zach. and you're right we kinda knew what was happening but zach had no clue"  corbyn says as he holds christinas waist tighter

"i don't know jo. it was a surprise but not at the same time. it breaks my heart just thinking about it" daniel says as him and jonah sat in the cafe

"maybe we should all go and see zach very soon he needs us" jonah says and daniel nods

they had been talking about the events of the past few days and both of them sat there broken-hearted not for themselves but for the young couple other wise known as jack and zach.

"we need to go see him tate. it's awful what happened" gabbie says as they sit on the beach in florida

"i should've been there it wouldn't of happened if i was" tate cries

"babe it wasn't your fault. you were busy it ain't like you could spend all your time with him" gabbie reassures

"i know but it hurts. and we really should go see him, we all should" she says and gabbie nods

tatum was blaming herself for being so close to the young boy and not even seeing him.

she thought that maybe she could have helped save him but in reality she couldn't have.

all of the friends wanted to either go see zach, or go see jack, or both. but they didn't have the time just yet.

they didn't even know if jack was okay yet.

who knew an incident like this would be what brought the friend group back together after months of not talking much.

to bad it was because of a broken hearted jack
