Listen Before I Go (S.M)

"Y/N" I look up at Shawn as the tears were streaming down my face.

"Shawn" I whispered grabbing his hands.

"I will always have love for you. You've shown me the world, made me feel like a queen, you made me happy..." I said looking up at him.

"But we can't be together. You've fallen for another and I can't keep you from her. We can't keep lying to each other. This-This isn't love Shawn...Please just let me go" Tears started falling from his face as he took his hands from mine and proceeded to cup my face. I leaned into his touch.

" I-I can't...please listen before you go" I smiled at him before grabbing his hands and taking them from my face.I wiped the tears of his face.

"I'm so sorry" He said bringing me closer and holding me. At those words I almost let out a sob. He put his head in the crook of my neck and we stood there holding each other trying to get over the pain we are going through.

"Sorry can't save us now" I whispered slowly. He hugged me tighter.

"There's no way out" I whispered out as I let go of him. He pulled away wiping away the salty tears on my cheeks.

"Telly Aaliyah i'll miss her," I said as memories flashed through my head. I saw him falter at his sister's name.

"Please" I shook my head taking his hands in mine once more.

"Call my friends tell them I love them...and I will miss them" I said finally breaking eye contact.

"I'm sorry i don't know how" I said after he told me to stay once more. I took the ring off my finger and then put it on his palm and closed his hand.

"Tell Camila...Tell Camila I will miss her" I said leaning forward and giving him a soft kiss on the cheek.

"I'm sorry...We can't save each other now" I whispered as I pulled away. He held my hand one last time before I finally walked through the doorway and into my car.

SHAWN'S P.O.V

I watched as my best friend walked through the door. Once closed i broke down. Memories of us 2 flashed through my head and it made me cry more. I let myself be with Camila knowing i had her here waiting for me. I stared hesitantly at my hand before opening revealing the ring that I gave her. I wiped away my tears as I remembered the night i had given it to her. I walked towards the rooftop before opening the window and climbing onto the roof. I sat down and looked out into the view of the forest. Remembering how we had chased each other around even though we had work to do. I smiled softly before closing my eyes reliving the memories we had made.
