*Asa's POV*

I thought that I would be left by myself for a long time. Sure it was over ten minutes, but after that, I wasn't alone.

I was looking at my phone when someone else came in. There was a lady carrying someone in. I didn't get to see who though. The lady put the patient in a bed located in the corner of the room. A burse also came in. Eventhough the lady that carried the patient in had left, it was still impossible to see the patient because of the place that the nurse was standing in. The nurse started talking. Then, she pulled out a needle, inserted it into the patient, and pulled the curtains. Before the nurse got all the way to the door, she turned around to talk to me.

"You don't mind her sharing the same room as you, do you? It's only going to be temporary bacause you are leaving tomorrow."

"It's fine," I replied. So now I know its a girl. I hope its Jessica because she really deserves a good injury. "Do you know her name?" I asked the nurse just as she was closing the door.

"I don't know. The receptionist found her in the waiting room. She had bruises all over her side. We think its best to sedate her until we get permission to use medicines on her. If course we're going to have to wait for her to wake up first." After answering my question to the best of her ability, she left.

Her answer got me thinking. It could be Jessica. She was leaving, and she most likely went through the waiting room. Then what would've caused the bruises? Then, another scenario dawned on me. What if the injury was a result of Jessica's wrong doings? I already know that Jessica gets what she wants most of the time. Also, Jessica likes to act up when no adults are around, and the victim was FOUND. Now, I'm really curious.

Despite the wooziness in my head, I still want to find out who the patient is. I lift the covers and stand. My sneakers touch the ground, and I take a few steps. So far so good. No injuries yet. I keep walking, making sure I steady myself. Luckily, the anasthetics they gave me probably wasn't that strong or else I would've fallen from my dizziness. I am finally about five steps away from seeing who the injured person is. I take one more step. Another step. And one last step.

Wham! I start falling as a result of me stepping on my untied shoelace. Suddenly, I am living in one of those cartoon moments where the character has to make all the decisons that his/her life depends on. I quickly grab onto something. The closest thing is the curtains that are surrounding the patient, so that's what I grab with my right hand. Surprisingly, the curtains tear out of the rings. That's when I see the patient. It's Natalia, the one that I have fallen so deeply in love with in less than a week.

Then, I can't see her anymore, just the infinite darkness that fills my vision.
