The Next Few Months

Ashley had explained what had happened that morning. Out of all the boys Brandon was worried most. If he had just been up there, he thought, he could have been there sooner. Ashley noticed the look on his face and walked over.

"It's not your fault." Ashley whispered in her soothing voice. "At least you got there. God knows what would happen if you didn't."

Everyone got ready for school except for Hayden and Will, instead Will would be watching over the house, and Hayden dropped out so he could make money. Ashley went to school wearing sweatpants and Brandon's hoodie. Brandon wore a collard shirt with black pants.

It was the first day of winter. It was like a new beginning for Ashley, well kind of. Ashley was on constant watch, but could still talk to people. She found out one of her class mates were related to a famous writer. A senior was struggling with family issues, but stayed at friends house when they could not stand it anymore. Ashley realized no one was mean, everyone was nice.

As the months went by Ashley started experiencing mood swings, food cravings, and morning sickness. Brandon and Ashley found out they were having twins, a boy and a girl. Everyone at the house were calling them the parents. At school the teachers let them sit next to each other, and everyone was asking to touch Ashley's baby bump.

"Ashley!" Brandon called. "Breakfast is ready!"

Ashley came walking down the stairs. "Brandon, what would I do without you?"

"I don't know." Brandon replied.

School was going normal until 3rd period.

Brandon turned to look at Ashley and saw her holding her stomach.

"Mr. Burns!" Brandon said interrupting him.

"Ye-" Brandon interrupted him again.

"Call an ambulance." Brandon said breathless.
