Chapter 8.

"What?! Why?!" Namjoon exclaimed

"As the ancestors have said you cannot touch your mates kitsune spirit unless you have marked them. As we see taehyung and jungkook don't even know that they are mates and taehyung has touched the ball without being marked" yoongi explained and namjoon gasped

"So why is jungkook going to die?!" Namjoon asked

"It was said that if your mate has touched your kitsune spirit without being marked, this affects the kitsune spirit as it starts to destory without the spirit knowing about it. Taehyung has touched jungkook's spirit hence jungkook's fox will start to detouriate without him knowing about it"

"Is there a way to save him or not?!"

"Yes there is. But a very difficult one. The blood moon comes out once in sixteen years. And this time, it's after six month. It is said that we can save a fox spirit from damaging if it's mate marks them on the blood moon night. So jungkook has six months to live for now if they don't understand that the two are mates"

"And if jungkook dies.......taehyung dies too"

"No!" Namjoon gasped

"Yoongi, we've been saving master taehyung for twenty years now. Our clan.....our clan got vanished while saving him. My father died, your brother died. And we can't let this happen! We should tell them that they are mates won't it be easier for them then?" Namjoon whispered and was about to walk inside but yoongi stopped him

"I'm afraid we can't, joonie. Taehyung is a God spirit and the fate has already been written.....if we interfere in it, the laws and nature would punish us" yoongi said, lowering his gaze

"Telling them about this would put them in more danger" yoongi sighed

"So what are we gonna do now?" Namjoon asked

"For now, I have a way to solve the problem so that they won't know anything suspicious is going on" yoongi said and took out his clutch before taking out some herbs

"What are these?" Namjoon asked

"The icemaiden herb"

"What does it do?"

"For now, it can calm the fire down of jungkook's kitsune ball.

But not for a very long time, they need to figure this out by themselves"

"Otherwise all's gone to waste" namjoon completed yoongi's sentence as they looked at each other before entering the room to see taehyung worriedly trying to wake jungkook up

"What took you so long?" Taehyung asked as he jumped from jungkook to them

"We were gone to get this herb which will wake him up" yoongi smiled and ruffled his hair

"Okay, now please do something! Wake him up!" Taehyung said and pushed yoongi towards jungkook

Yoongi sighed before rubbing the herb and slowly inserting it inside jungkook's mouth

After a minute or two, they all heard a groan and taehyung gasped

"Jungkook! Are you okay? I was scared!" He asked as he sat beside jungkook

"I-i'm fine. Just some normal headache I guess" jungkook said as he rubbed his forehead meanwhile hoseok jumped to hug him

"I was scared to death! From now on you're eating more rice than before" hoseok said as jungkook groggily laughed

"Yeah yeah" jungkook chuckled as taehyung looked at him with a smile

Taehyung looked at his watch

It's night time and time for him to shapeshift

"Namjoon hyung and yoongi hyung. It's night time, let's leave hoseok hyung and jungkook together and We shall go to home and sleep" taehyung smiled and namjoon looked at him suspiciously before nodding his head.

Taehyung hugged jungkook, who blushed at the sudden action before hugging back

The three left the room, letting hoseok and jungkook alone

Jungkook looked outside the window seeing that it's already night time

And time to meet his mate

I'll never miss a day when I can see you.

I'm coming, mate
