LAMBDA Act 2: Redemption

Redemption: Part 1

6 Months after the events of the last Act.

Commander Ainsley: Doctor, It's time to wake him up.

Doctor: Sir, frankly he just isn't ready for that. He's still recovering.

Ainsley: We don't have time to negotiate. Our world is on fire, and we need him.

Doctor: Yes sir...

The Doctor begins to pull Sam out of his deep sleep, and after a couple of minutes, he begins to slowly wake up.

Sam: Where the hell am I.

Ainsley: Sam, you've best resting for quite some time. Do you remember what happened to you?

Sam: I remember being tortured. Carver took out my eye. Then I was shot through the chest.

Doctor: I told him you weren't ready for this.

Sam: I'll be fine, Doctor, thank you. Commander, will you inform me on what has happened while I've been gone?

Ainsley: Yes, well first things first. You and your team have been cleared of your falsely accused crimes. We spent a lot of time with Komtareus and the girl, Ariane.

Sam: I'm expecting bad news to follow.

Ainsley: Carver and his men are still at large. We have a list of names.

Sam: Tell me the names.

Ainsley: Carver, John, Jack and a man named Reed.

Sam: Jack? No, he isn't part of them. Not really.

Ainsley: We have reports of him doing unspeakable acts in the name of The Rebellion.

Sam: Rebellion?

Ainsley: That's what we've been calling them.

Sam: Well, that's dull. It's almost as if the person who came up with that name was too lazy to think of something better.

Ainsley: Well, anyway. Your team has been called outside and await your orders.

Sam: Then I'll be off.

Ainsley: Oh, I have something for you.

Ainsley hands Sam a large bag that has a new, shiny suit of armor. Sam reached into the bag and pulled out an eyepatch.

Sam: Seriously? An eyepatch?

Ainsley: Well we couldn't create you a new eye just yet, so this will have to do for now.

Sam: Fair enough. Thanks for everything, Commander.

Ainsley: Go get that bastard and end this war.

Sam nods at the man and puts on his eyepatch, before walking away with the bag over his shoulder. Once he stepped outside, he put his hand over his eyes and winced at the sun.

Ariane: Hey stranger. We've been awaiting your return.

Calvin: Good to see you boss.

Ryan: About time you woke up from your damn nap.

Jackie leaps on top of Sam and yells in his ear.

Jackie: Wassup mother fucker!!

Meanwhile, Michael and Sophia were too busy making out on the Airship to notice Sam had returned.

Calvin: Hey, get the fuck off Bessy! She doesn't want none of your fucking germs!

Michael: Relax Cal, jeez.

Sophia: Mikey, Sam's back.

Michael: Aye boss.

Sam: It's really good to see you all again.

Sam tosses Jackie onto the ground.

Komtareus: Hello Sam, welcome back.

Sam: Kom, I didn't expect to see you here.

Komtareus: Well I haven't had a planet for a couple years, so.. I thought I'd join team LAMBDA.

Sam: It's an honor to have you aboard.

Komtareus: Shall we save your planet then, Colonel?

Sam: Team, let's go liberate the world.
