Why break me?

Dec: "Uh? Hmm okay"

Dec didn't know there is a Gent's room in the second floor but then he remembers the less used one in one corner of the floor.

He enters to see Stephen and David in the middle of the room, frowning and talking in shushed voices.

Dec: "What?"

David: "When we came here, we heard someone sobbing and ...look, Dec-"

He gestures to a corner of the room and Dec's heart skips to see a figure sitting in one  corner, his head bowed and quietly sobbing. His white shirt and pale face were covered in blood. It took a few seconds for Dec to realise who it was.

Dec: "Mac? Are you alright?! Oh God! Who did this to you? What happened?" He turns to his friends "what happened to him?"

David: "He is not speaking to us. We don't know"

Dec crouches beside Mac who doesn't look at him in the eyes

Dec: "What happened, Mac?"

Mac: "No...nothing...nothing"

Dec: "Please don't be like this. How did you reach here? And Dave, why are you and Stevie here?"

Stephen: "Uh? Mm we...eh..this was closed and unused and..eh.."

David: "Dec! You don't want to know" He sighs and looks at him as if asking 'You know why'

Dec blushes suddenly "Oh! Right. I don't want to know. Mmm...Mac, tell us..who did this?"

Mac shakes his head painfully

David: "Man, you have to tell us! Who did this to you?"

Stephen: "Either you tell us or we tell Philip-"

Mac: "No! Don't.. don't! He mustn't know..he mustn't...please don't "

Stephen: "Philip can help you"

Dec: "Mac, you have to tell us-"

Mac: "It's my fault. I- I did wrong...I was wrong... I got this..because of that..."

Fury burns inside Dec at that

Dec: "Look at you!! Your hand looks twisted man, there is a deep wound on your head and your right eye is black as a coal! Whatever it is, you don't deserve to be treated so!"

Mac: "It will be worse...if they know..it will be..."

Dec: "We won't tell anybody, okay...who? Who did this?"

Mac: "They...they will tell him...and if..if-"

David: "You have to tell us the truth...who did this?"

Mac: No..please, please leave me alone"

Dec: "Okay. But we will be coming back with Philip-"

Mac: "No! Please..it's them..them...Andrew and others..they said not to tell anybody...or they will tell him..."

Dec: "Tell whom?"  Andrew again! Too much for the good guy act.

Mac: "I won't tell you...I won't...please leave me..."

Dec: "Nobody will know...and we will not judge you...tell us what happened and what he is blackmailing you with"
