Thomas walks into the room to see what was happening. Jilly turns around and catches him looking at them and the girls. Jilly walks out of the room and into Meg's and Payton's room to get Meg's attention and to wake Payt up.
Thomas is still standing in the doorway to Rowena's and Virginia's room. He passes out as soon as he turns around to see a sad Jilly, a concentrated Meghan, and a sleepy Payton holding her stuffed toy.
"Girls, get him to the couch," was all Jilly said before going downstairs to tell Joan that they could go home and Thomas was going to be leaving after a bit.
Joan takes Jilly's words into consideration and leaves after giving Jilly a hug.
