After school, I sat down and watched some TV waiting for Aidan to come back from wherever he went. I seriously needed to ask him about that girl. I got terribly hungry so I dragged my lazy butt to the kitchen and looked for something to eat. I glanced outside the window and I could've sworn I saw a car like my aunt's- Annie but as soon as I turned back around to check, it had vanished and I didn't even see the license plate. It couldn't have been her because she would've come here to visit me.
Finally, about three minutes later, Aidan returned.
"Hey, can I ask you something?"
"Um, ok, good afternoon to you too."
"Yeah yeah, good afternoon. Can I ask you something?"
"Sure, what do you want?"
"Who was the girl you were making out with last night?"
"You saw that?" he asked, looking embarrassed. "I'm sorry about that. I thought you were gone."
"It's ok, that's cool but who was the girl?"
"She doesn't go our school."
"Do I know her?"
"No."
"Can I meet her?"
"No."
"Why?"
"Because I'm never seeing her again."
"Wait a minute. You're a player now?"
"Don't hate the player, hate the game." he said but then burst out laughing.
"I'm sorry, I just alwas wanted to say that. No, I'm not a player. It was just a one time thing. I was sad, that random girl was there."
I pushed more. "Why were you sad?"
He started rubbing the back of his head. He always did that when he was thinking of a lie. I guess he couldn't come up with one since he simply answered,
"i don't want to talk about it."

At school the next day, it was quite weird. Every time I would try to talk to Nate, he would blow me off. I don't know what his problem was.
At lunch time, I cornered him and pulled him into a closet- they're everywhere!
"What's with you today, Nate? Why are you ignoring me and every time I try to talk to you, you blow me off?"
"Kat, I'm sorry. We can't be together anymore."
His voice was void and lacked emotion but I could barely hear what he was saying because I was so shocked.
"W-what? What did I do?"
"It's not you, it's me."
Then he just walked out of the closet as if he hadn't just broken up with me.
I was left with the all the cleaning products in the closet. I sat down and cried my eyes out. So many questions were running through my head. Did he meet someone else? What did I do wrong? Why?
After about an hour of crying, I went out into the parking lot and hopped into my car. I couldn't leave because the gates were locked so I sat in my car and wallowed in my self-pity.
At about two twenty-five, the gates finally opened and I went home and hopped into my bed to cry some more.
Some time during all my crying, I heard a knock on the door.
"Don't come in!" I practically screamed at the person on the other side.
