A little past seven a.m., a loud thud is heard first thing in the typical morning of the Kim household. Groaning, Namjoon slowly pries himself from the floor and checks his watch. "Urgh it's already past seven! Why didn't my alarm ring?!" Looking towards his nightstand, he found his answer. The area where the alarm clock was supposed to be, lay a dented figure that vaguely resembled what used to be his alarm clock. He rolls his eyes and groans, "That was the sixth one! I really need to find a more durable alarm clock..." He trailed off his train of thought and looked at his phone. "I probably could use this as an alarm, but," with a sharp intake of breath, he continues,

"I really can't risk destroying my phone now can I?"

After his conclusion of the morning, he hurries off to finish his morning routine so he can wake his son up. Flipping the light switch to on, he gently shakes Jungkook awake. "Jungkook-ah. I woke up a little late, so we need to hurry and eat some breakfast, so I can drop you off at school." Rubbing his eyes, he mumbles out a quiet, "Okay Dad," and jumps off his bed to dress into his school uniform. With a small smile, Namjoon exits the room to find breakfast to go for the road.

~Time Skip~

Looking over the 65th paper of the day, Namjoon lets out a frustrated groan and continues to mumble to himself while grading papers. "I don't get paid enough for the bullcrap my students give me. I ask for an essay, and they give me a long remix of Korean-English. I bet they googled half of this, and they still can't get this right! Tsk. Oh, wait someone did something right for once! Thank you, child!" He continues to mumble and furiously grade papers and doesn't realize someone entered his office. "I'll be grading until 12:00 again, won't I."

"Hey, Professor Kim if you're not busy with your commentary, I need your attention for a moment."

Namjoon looks up from his papers to find a tired grandfather trapped in the body of a thirty-two-year-old man looking back at him. "What's up, Mr. Min?"

With a raspy drawl, the principal responds, "The sky. Now I'm actually talking to you to inform you about a new professor. He's our replacement for Mr. Choi. He will be teaching Korean Literature, and he expressed interest in opening a Home Economics class or club. Since you teach English, you'll be in the same wing of the campus, so I want you to show him around and get him comfortable. That'll be all. I trust you Kim Namjoon."

With a yawn and an upward stretch, the principal of the esteemed Yonsei University turns and leaves Namjoon's office. A new professor, Namjoon thinks to himself, but I'm busy enough as is....

"Well this is the cafe that's open to the public and it's quite popular with the locals. This pretty much concludes our tour, and I hope I wasn't too rushed about it. I just have some papers to get back to. I'm really sorry to just leave you here, but feel free to contact me sometime later if you have any questions!" "I'm sorry bu-"

"Hope you enjoy your time here!" Namjoon yells to the handsome, slender, and confused looking stranger, as he briskly walks back to his new office.

As he rushes into his office, he's greeted by a handsome and charismatic new stranger. Wow, two handsome men in one day. Really helps my self-confidence. "Um I really sorry, but who are you?" Namjoon asks with a confused scowl. He really needed to get these papers done and sort out his bills as soon as possible. Can't the universe see that he's literally drowning in papers? Give this man a break!

He's interrupted from his thoughts by a tenor voice. "Sorry to bother you, but Mr. Min sent me here. You're Kim Namjoon, right? I'm Kim Seokjin, the new Korean Literature professor. A pleasure to meet you."

"Wait then who was tha-"

Namjoon's assistant teacher suddenly bursts into the office. "Oh hey Mr. Kim, have you seen my friend Mark? I told him where I was, but he got lost, so I told him to ask you for directions and maybe a map if you had one." He just then notices Seokjin. "Oh whoops, are you busy Mr. KIm?" Giving Namjoon a wink and a knowing look, before slowly backtracking out of the office. "I see you're busy with important matters Mr.Kim and handsome stranger. My bad misters. Jackson out!" Jackson gives a sheepish half smile and runs the rest of distance out of the office, closing the door as he leaves.

Ignoring what happened with Jackson, Namjoon whirls back around to face the actual Kim Seokjin. Namjoon sheepishly rubs his neck and asks, "Did you wait for a long time? I'm really sorry. I can explain. You see, I thought Jackson's friend was you and I showed him around this wing of the campus because Principal Min tol- Are you laughing right now?"

"Pft no."

"Well they weren't scheduled to wipe our windows today, so I can't see what else made that noise."

"I'm sorry for thinking you're cute when you ramble."

Turning a brilliant shade of red that Ronald Weasley would be proud of, Namjoon managed to sputter out a barely comprehensible, "I'm sorry what?"

Feigning nonchalance, Seokjin asked, "Hm?"
