Fifteen

As soon as they walk into the doorway after dressing, Hongjoong points to the table, "Sit."

Jongho and Yunho sit at the kitchen table, along with Mingi, Seonghwa, and Wooyoung. San and Yeosang stood by the sink, ready to leave if things became too overwhelming for Yeosang. They were also there to grab Wooyoung in case the pregnant Omega were to get overwhelmed as well.

"What's going on?" Yunho asks, sitting as far away from Mingi as he can, the Alpha winces at the sight and he can feel the Alpha's pain thanks to the mating bond.

Hongjoong doesn't say anything, looking at the two sternly until they've settled. He leans towards the two who took their place at the end of the table, Jongho catching eyes with Wooyoung, who was staring at him with guilt as he looks down and rubs his swollen belly. Mingi sat by him, and Yunho feels the same pain as Mingi felt creep into his heart. Both sharing the pain.

"We need to talk," Hongjoong starts, folding his hands on the table, "It's been a month since this nonsense has started and I've had enough of playing the one in the middle of two sides. We are a pack. We are one with one another. Just because someone is having a pup, doesn't mean we turn them away!"

"How would you feel if someone mated with Seonghwa and got him pregnant with their pup!? A pup that's not yours?" Yunho snaps, causing Seonghwa to growl lowly as a warning to the Beta. Seonghwa hardly ever growls or snarls, only when Hongjoong is yelled at or threatened, but that's usually if Mingi doesn't get there first. He is very protective of his mate, as any Luna should be for the Head Alpha.

Yunho looks away towards his hands, frowning, "I crossed the line, I'm sorry."

Hongjoong tilts his head up, "This isn't the only thing we're going to discuss," Hongjoong speaks lowly, bringing Seonghwa's hand in his own and the Luna practically purrs at the touch.

Mingi looks at Yunho and takes a deep breath, "My love?" Yunho winces, Mingi reaches forward and takes his hand softly into his calloused one's, "Yunho, we need to talk. We can't ever fix this unless we were to all sit down and talk. I love you, alright? Very, very much. I had to get Hongjoong involved not only for the sake of our mating bond, but for the baby as well."

Yunho snorts, "Typical. You couldn't say it's completely for us."

Mingi frowns, "Wooyoung is pregnant with my child. You are my mate, yes, but that is my child growing in him. Whether you like it or not, my child is more important to me than anything and they're not even here in my arms yet."

Yunho's lip wobbles as he felt tears brim his lash line, "Then give me a baby."

"I have been trying so very hard my love," Mingi whispers and takes both hands of Yunho's in his, kissing the slim, cold fingers, "Every time we make love I make sure to knot you and put a child inside you. The moon goddess doesn't think it's the right time that is all-"

"But it was with him?!" Yunho cries out, looking at Wooyoung slightly as the pregnant Omega once again feels guilt seep into him, "She won't give a child to us as mates, but she will to someone who's not even mated to you!? Someone who's not even mated to anyone!?"

"Don't look down on the moon goddess's decisions," Seonghwa warns, "Those who think badly of the moon goddess and her decisions are usually those who are cursed for all eternity. Including their ancestors."

Jongho snorts, "If that's the case I am fucked."

Hongjoong frowns, "The moon goddess lead you to us. All of you were lead here. It is her will and her mercy that she brought you here where it's safer for us all. What could you have possibly second guess her word about?"

"Me killing those people," Jongho mumbles, "Me not being kinder, a monster," he looks at Wooyoung's belly, his jaw sets, "Not being a father, or not being mated with Wooyoung."

"Little one," Seonghwa speaks, reaching for him and Jongho can't ignore the motherly gesture as he stands and walks over to Seonghwa. The brunette pulls Jongho close, the Alpha sitting on his butt as he faces Seonghwa. The Luna kisses his forehead, brushing the hair back to expose Jongho's beautiful brown eyes, "You have plenty of time to be a father. As well as Yunho has plenty of time to be a mother and give Mingi another child," he looks over to the couple.

Mingi has his mate's face in the palms of his hands, their foreheads pressed against one another as Yunho sniffles and Mingi easily wipes away the tears with his thumbs. Seonghwa sighs, "What's done is done. We shouldn't pawn over it anymore or hold grudges. It's that what tears a pack apart."

Wooyoung hasn't once spoken, until now when he feels tiny feet inside wiggle and move, "I'm sorry."

Yunho shakes his head, looking at Wooyoung, "You have nothing to be sorry about Youngie. It's not your fault-"

"But it is," Wooyoung interrupts, rubbing his belly to keep calm as he looks at the crying Beta, "I drove us all apart. I separated us. I put a wall in between my family. And now we're all falling apart."

"No we're not," Jongho speaks up, standing and walking over to Wooyoung, sitting by the pregnant Omega and slowly placing a hand on his baby bump. Wooyoung watches him closely, both hands by Jongho's just in case. But the look Jongho is giving him is filled with love and admiration. He has nothing to fear about, "We are one. We will forever be one."

Hongjoong sighs in relief, looking at each of them, "Let's put this behind us. We're bringing a child into this pack and if we're going to be raising a child we need to be the adults and get over this."

Seonghwa pats his hand, looking at him with wide eyes and Hongjoong chuckles, "Especially if we're going to be bringing another pup into the world shortly after Wooyoung's child is born."

Wooyoung snaps his head over to them, "Hwa?"

Seonghwa smiles shyly, nodding his head, "I haven't went to see the midwife yet, but I found out a couple weeks ago. You may already have known due to the change in my smell."

Wooyoung gawks, "I could've sworn you smelt like marshmallows before!! But now you smell like toasted pecans!"

"You're pregnant?!" San gasps, running over and hugging his Luna excitedly and Yeosang claps his hands excitedly before hugging his Luna along with his mate. Mingi smiles and Yunho couldn't help but smile too, trying to mask the pain hiding behind that smile.

He wanted a baby too...
