Chapter ThirtyThree- I Don't Know If Thats A Good Or A Bad Thing

Start from the beginning

"Yeah."

"Do they hurt you?"

"Sometimes."

"That's not good." He shakes his head.

"Yeah, well, it doesn't stop them."

"I'm sorry."

"It's not your fault."

"Well, next time it happens, maybe I could do something."

"Next time?"

"Next time someone hurts you at school, or does something mean, you can call me and I can help."

"I don't even have your number. And you already saved my life from getting hit by a car. You've done enough."

"Well maybe I want to do more."

"Well maybe that makes me feel special."

"Well maybe you are special."

"Well maybe that makes me blush."

"Well maybe I like when you blush."

I chuckle, "What are we doing?" I ask.

"I don't know. But I like it." He smiles. "So what is your number?" We exchange phones and put our numbers in and take them back.

"Thanks Julie."

"Thanks Sam." I smile.

"You have a nice smile." I feel my face heat up.

"Can you smile?" I ask so he does. "You have a nice smile too."

"Thank you."

A gust of wind blows, making his thick honey blonde hair blow back. His hair is pretty.

"What are you thinking about?" He asks and I look down to his eyes.

"Your hair." I say genuinely.

"My hair?"

"Yeah, it looked pretty when it blew."

"Yours did too. It looks very soft."

"It is."

"Can I feel?"

"Sure." I chuckle. He strokes my hair and nods.

"It is very soft."

"Thanks."

"Is mine?" I reach up to feel but I'm too small.

"I can't reach." I say sadly.

"Oh that's okay, here." He puts his hands on my waist and lifts me up. I yelp and giggle.

"You could've just lowered your head." I say once I feel his beautiful hair.

"Well then I wouldn't have gotten to hold you." He says and we both smile.

"Why do you want to hold me?"

"Because you're cute." I blush again.

"You're sweet."

"I try." He says. "So you wanna grab a bite to eat?"

"At ten o'clock?" I raise a brow. "Most places are closed at this time, aren't they?"

"Probably. But we can still try. Maybe there's an ice cream place."

"Ok."'I nod.

"Does that taste good?" He asks me as I lick the spoon of blue cotton candy ice cream. I nod.
