ANAIEL

Light and dark...Pure and Impure...

"Nothing is simple. None of it ever was or will be, I think." I said, my voice impassive.

Turning to my side, I saw Tsohg restored to its normalcy...eh, for the most part.

The eternal twilight would not leave. Neither would the gloomy storms nor the thunder or rain. Nothing would be the same as before. Only the moon would shine over the sky in this never-ending twilight realm. I cringed at the thought. Nothing was the same. After all, everything had rearranged.

"At least, you tried, honey." Nahariel gently moved  to my side and lifted my chin. He had an expression of pure bliss. There was no manner of derision or anger in his glittering garnet irises. It brought a smile to my face. Leaning in, I kissed his cheek.

"Gracias, mi amor."

"Always welcome, Naiel."

He raised his elbow, eyes glimmering with mischief. "Shall we?"

I looked around. It was time. My hand snaked up to rest on his.

"Lets." I snuggled up closer to him while our feet marched on in sync. It was peaceful and beautiful. After all our struggles, we finally had a lifetime ahead of us.

A lifetime of well-earned hope...and peace...
