•Callie's POV•

"Callie, don't forget it's our turn tonight for catch up Friday." Mum says as I enter the kitchen for breakfast.

I groan, "Why do we do catch up Friday every week? Don't you get sick of them?" I ask.

Mum rolls her eyes, "Do you ever get sick of Abby?"

I purse my lips and she smirks, "That's what I thought."

Dad walks into the kitchen, "What's going on."

"Oh not much, just proved our daughter wrong." Mum says causally.

"High-five!" Dad says and Mum slaps his awaiting palm with hers.

I gape, "Oh come on!"

"Yeah, we already know you suck." Alec says as he comes in, we high-five each other.

Mum and Dad roll their eyes, "We are very cool parents thank you." Dad says.

Alec cringes, "Just the way you said that proves my point."

Mum points at Alec and he puts his hands up in a surrender type fashion, "You too, don't forget it's-"

"Catch up Friday at our house tonight. Yes I know Mum, I do have werewolf hearing too." He says.

"Don't you be smart with me young man." She warns.

"Mum, I thought you knew this already, I'm like the dumbest person out here." He replies.

Dad scoffs, his mouth full of cereal, "Yeah right, says the boy who got straight A's last year."

I gasp and turn to him, pointing my finger at him.

Alec gapes at Dad, "Dad! We had a deal."

"Huh!" I say, "You liar."

Alec sighs, "Now look what you've done."

I may want to move to the coast, but it's definitely not because of my amazing, wacky family.

"I don't understand why you make me walk to school when we have perfectly good cars at home." Abby whines as we walk.

"Abby, it's literally five minutes away." I reply.

"I say ten." She states.

"Hey I don't make you walk, you could drive if you wanted to." I reply, knowing what her answer is going to be anyway.

"Nah, that's okay." She says, exactly what I thought.

I laugh and we pass through the school gates and into the school.

"Have you ever thought about who's going to find their mate first out of us?" She asks suddenly.

I raise my eyebrows at her, "Abby, who are you talking to here?"

She rolls her eyes, "Yeah I get it's you, but seriously, I bet it will be you because you have Alpha blood in you."

"That doesn't have heaps to do with finding your mate, plus I don't even know if I can feel when I find my mate. Mum said Snow had no idea, she just had a feeling." I reply.

"Yeah, but you have significant and powerful werewolf in you, you never know." She replies.

"Yeah, I guess." I say.

"Oh! Speaking of Alphas," She says, "I found out that my Uncle who's visiting is an Alpha."

"Really? Why is he visiting then? Doesn't he have a pack to run?" I ask.
