When one of the town's Suitehearts is kicked out, it's up to Dr. Benzedrine, Horseshoe Crab and Donnie, the World's Greatest Catcher to help the town give him a second chance.

Being the only doctor in the area is hard.

Anyone that lives in a small town in normal land will understand that. Of course, this isn't normal land, this is America.

You see, there is an alternate universe that exists. To us, normal land dwellers we are, we would view this universe as "weird," "strange," or even, I dare say "pretty odd." This universe can be accessed from the ever-so-famous Hollywood sign or from the comfort of your own living room. That TV of yours is good for more than displaying some poor actors in overrated police dramas. (A/N: don't kill me, NCIS, SVU and Criminal Minds are top notch.)

Currently, our doctor has a problem: He needs to get the public to allow himself and the other Suitehearts to do their jobs around town.

Oh, that's something else you need to understand. In this alternate universe, the "government" system consists of a small group of people known as "Suitehearts." Each separate town as them. The citizens of the said town can reject Suitehearts if the majority of them thinks negatively enough of them.

The Suiteheart being rejected goes by the name of Sandman.

Sandman is crucial to the town in the sense that he is the reason everyone hasn't lost their marbles. Sandman goes around at the dead of night, and using his magic sand, he gives the townspeople sleep. Personally, the doctor was unsure why the townspeople hated Sandman so much.

But enough of the boring filler. Let's get to the meat and potatoes.

The doctor looked himself in the mirror, peering into his ocean blue eyes. The single doctor in town is short, only reaching a grand height of 5 feet and 4-5 inches. Some would view him as chubby, he views himself as "fun-sized." He dresses in a vibrant yellow suit with a black collared shirt underneath, even a pair of matching yellow shoes and a yellow top hat. Strawberry blonde hair was visible from underneath his hat.

You may think that the doctor's job was simple: he was, after all, a doctor. Sure, he provides his potions to aid the sick of the town, but his true duty is to provide the town with unity in exchange for chaos. Chaos has a strange taste, but it's oddly addicting and gets better the more you eat it.

That's another thing about these Suitehearts. They all possess a supernatural power of some sort that has the potential to aid the town. They don't eat normal food, they eat the negatives of the town.

Heavy blush naturally rested on his cheeks followed by his bright pink lips. After adjusting his hat, he opened the door to look out and walk around his town.

The buildings were brightly colored and crooked in all sorts of directions. Trees grew in the middle of the street. If you want a better idea of what the town looked like, picture what a busy normal land city would look like in the 1950's but with more colors, more unconformity and a much more wild sense of fashion.

"Hey, Benzedrine!"

The doctor turned around to see a red-suited man with a very wild mane of hair approaching him at a run.

"Horseshoe Crab. I was just looking for you." Dr. Benzedrine replied.

Horseshoe Crab was about average height. A small hat was being swallowed up by his wavy locks of dark brown hair. Horseshoe was another Suiteheart. His job? He gives the townspeople luck in return for their misfortune. (He claims misfortune tastes like those every flavor jelly beans.) Granted, he can't just snap his fingers and make everyone's dreams come true, but if he bets a coin will land on heads, it damn well will land on heads. Horseshoe can also analyze patterns in time. So if he were to shove Benzedrine, he can foresee that the doctor will trip, then fall, which will lead to the kid on his tricycle to crash, then the kid's mother to start shouting at the Suitehearts for being so careless, so on and so forth.
