Chapter 3:

Meeting In Person Face To Face

. . .

~Aika & Aria~

The duo ran toward the direction of the scream, with their weapons in hand. Aria had her keyblades in both of her hands, Hidden Light and The Chains of Memories, while Aika had her silvered daggers which were mostly controlled by her magic. "I-I didn't know that there would be other people here too!" Aika whined, not fully prepared to fight. "Well, you can’t judge this world’s book cover. You might not know what lies within them.”

“Yeah… I guess you’re right.” Aika said while catching her breath. It’s not every day that she would run this fast-- besides helping people that are in danger. As they continue running, Aria saw that shadowy creature as she knew what that was. “Heartless…” She hissed, making Aika gaze at her with a confused look. "Eh? 'Heartless'...?" She quietly repeated. It was a different way of asking for an explanation, and to skip the small talk.

“Yeah, creatures made by darkness of the hearts of people. Meaning… If they killed another person, that person’s heart will be gone as they will turn into Heartless themselves.” Aria quickly explained to the princess. "That's…" Aika paused, shuddering at the thought of both Risen and Heartless in Ylisse. "That's even worse than what I have in my world…!" She muttered, staring at the Heartless.

“You should stay back. Heartless won’t be affected by your daggers. They can be only affected by my Keyblades.” Aria told Aika with the honest truth. "Hmpf...I was going to say I could fight too! But if that's the case, then I'll stay back…" She agreed. After all, she had NEVER seen them before. But by the looks in her new female companion, she could tell that she is telling the truth. “You can hit them, but it will only make them back off before coming back for more.”

"Then I'll help you like that! You'll attack it, and I'll keep forcing it back which gives more time to attack it again!" Aika said, hoping that she could be at least useful to her friend. “Indeed,” Aria agreed. “We must help them quickly!”

"Understood!" She replied, pulling out her magical silver dagger. When they got there, they saw that they weren’t the only one was battling the Heartless and the Heartless boss.

. . .

~Miku, Sienna, & Kiran~

. . .

Kiran let go of her firm grip on Sienna and Miku, letting them sigh with relief. But the trio still had to hurry in order to help whoever screamed. "Ugh...I hope to...never run this fast in my entire life...ever...again," Miku complained, breaking up her words with heavy breathing. "Yeah, I do...too," Sienna agreed, struggling to keep up with Kiran. "How are you...able to run this...fast, Kiran?!" Miku asked, falling further behind Sienna and Kiran.

Kiran looked at Miku in the corner of lavender eye before looking forward again. “If you have a sibling who makes you run every day, of course, Frederick training you at dawn, you’ll gain lots of strength and running speed in those kinds of training.” She answered the childish-screaming tactician. "Oh...I'm not...sure if I have an...older sibling," Miku muttered, "but yeah, I should probably...train with Frederick more often…" The trio continued running, until Kiran stopped in her tracks. She held out her right hand, signaling Sienna and Miku to stop. The two stopped, looking at each other with confusion.

“Why did you make us stop Kiran?” Sienna spoke while taking deep breaths. The long, black-haired look at her before looking back at something. “Because we’re already here.” Then they all gaze where was Kiran was looking at.
